You get a Peloton Bike for all of the instructors, community and extras off the bike. We bought the bike because I needed the push and motivation. Honestly when I would go to the gym, I would lift or get on a treadmill and just walk. Took a spin class here and there but not much other variety. I didn't do any extra…

Every morning. I don't worry about the number that day, just the trajectory.

Allopurinol is key. I had a stint where I had a flare up once a month for 2 years. Unfortunately most of my Uric Acid level was due to hereditary reasons and not diet. The key for me was to find a Rheumatologists (Arthritis Doctor) who kept adjusting my levels of Allopurinol based on my Uric Acid level. I had to have…

Since the beginning of the year I have dropped from 200 down to 182. I am hovering now between 181 - 184, trying to get to 170-175. The last little bit always takes longer even with logging a deficit. All I can say is Keep At It!

My doctor plans to see if I keep up with my regiment which I intend to and I will be able to lower my medication. So Diet alone didn't do it. It was…

I just went to the doctor for my physical. My Cholesterol has never been lower. That combined with recommiting to the gym. I have gone every other day for the last 3.5 weeks.

My ah-ha moment wasn't about my weight as it was about exercising. It was actually a nightmare of a medical emergency. Opened my eyes to an overdue lifestyle change.

I spend about 90-100 for my family a week. 2 adults and 2 childern. And that includes the snacks for kids so $25 a week could be done for an individal. Fruits and veggies along with your lentils can be bought at that budget. The more meat protein the higher your costs will be.

Thank you all again for the info. Never thought about weighing liquids. Will need to start doing that.

This may seem like a silly question but, if 1 tbsp (15 fl oz) is a serving of creamer, how much would it weigh? or how would you know. I know that 1 oz of water weighs 1oz of weight but other liquids have different densities. Thanks in advance.

I utilize a food scale for everything thats solid but it brings up another question. When it comes to liquids, do you all trust a liquid measuring cup? Since most liquids do not give weight but fl oz.

I think it can motivate you. Once I started hitting the 10K, I didn't want to go without hitting it. So it can definetly motivate you. But everyone is different. It also gives you a lot of info. Especially the ones with Heart Rate. They may not be perfectly accurate but it give you some sort of baseline.

Really noticed it when I had pictures taken without me knowing. Saw how I looked from different angles.
