Thanks.

I had a Fitbit Flex that I wore in a necklace. I got the necklace from Ebay. It was pretty. And, it was fairly accurate.

They have an active Facebook page.

Did you try going to the APPS link, along the top, and select Get on the Garmin Connect link.

Is distance in miles?

I think that would be hard because, as far as I can tell, Garmin distributes your bmr over 24 hours. So, at any given point before midnight, there will still be undistributed calories burned. I could be overthinking it, though. Actually I think this would only matter if you were set at sedentary and earned back calories…

The Garmins can actually turn off the Bluetooth on the device, and not just disconnect you from what ever you are linked to, like your phone?

Whatever milk we have in the house, usually 1%.

I uninstalled and re-installed and now it works. Thanks.

It worked. Thanks for the help.

I have deleted from MFP and Fitbit and added it back. I can't sync until tonight when I'm at home but I don't see any steps from prior days, which will be fine if it is fixed going forwards. Glad someone had the same issue and was able to fix it, it gives me hope:) Thanks.

It is selected.

I wonder if that will erase previous other data.

It is selected.

I'm set as sedentary. It used to work, it has now stopped.

I have the flex. It registers steps if I'm rocking in a rocking chair. But I know that so I either take it off or put it in my pocket. I used to wear it as a necklace and it worked pretty well that way. It takes getting to know the limitations. I do find it motivating.

I think you just need to spend some time at the store reading labels. It may take a while, but then you'll know for future trips.
-
Just remember that you're doing this for you, not anyone else. You alone know how hard you have worked. Take pride in that and don't let anybody diminish your efforts. Especially someone who doesn't even know you. You don't have to prove anything to anyone else. Congrats on your accomplishments thus far, there will be many…

I have to do gluten free pasta, but to answer your question, I didn't have enough pasta one night for both me and my husband, so I added zoodles to it. He really liked it. You could make a half serving of spaghetti and add zoodles to it.

Once you press the search button on your keyboard it should pull up the database list. At least, it does for me.

June 11, was the last time it really worked. The app is always looking for my Fitbit. I got a lot of steps yesterday that I'd like not to lose

You can set sodium as one if your macros. I believe light salt is half sodium and half potassium. You can make fresh peanut butter at many health food stores with no added salt. I actually prefer it to commercial which is too salty for my taste, but it is definitely an acquired taste. Really read nutritional labels of…

I wear my Fitbit flex as a necklace, for me it's much more accurate. The only thing I know to do, if I got a lot of extraneous steps is to create the activity of driving during the period of extraneous steps. I get a lot of steps rocking in a rocking chair and swiping my iPad. I usually remove the fitbit when I'm watching…

I must say, you all have the best looking foods. I have to get my sorry ars out there and start making better looking food.

There's sugar in so many things that you wouldn't even think of. I eat plain Greek yogurt and add fruit, but no other sweetener. I don't drink sodas or juices. Pretty much, besides fruit, the only sweet thing I eat is a square of dark chocolate, almost daily. The most recent studies I've read implicate sugar, more than…

Once you log what you ate, and confront the facts, it gets better. Some people say they don't log the bad days but for me the biggest part was the fear of confronting what I've done. But after that I can take a deep breath and carry on.

I thought it would be a special icon on the home page but I had to actually go through the steps of adding a food item to get to the icon.

If you have a smart phone you should get a gps app like map my run or another one like that, there's many. It's fun too see your path and actually know how far you've walked.

I found it, it's the little barcode icon on the top. Thanks.
