High intensity anything is the best for fat loss as it keeps metabolism firing up to 48 hours after the session. but make sure you're working at 100% all of the time whilst doing it. You should be absolutely dying at the end of it. If you're not then you're not working hard enough.

I don't tend to stick to rigid resting periods really. Just listen to your body. If you feel ready for another set do it!
