  • I'm not sure what happened with the rest of my post, but I was just saying that.... Feel free to add me for those who are continuing this challenge in September. It's always good to have support! Good job everyone
  • I'm down 4 pounds
  • I added rockclimbing to my workout routine. Now I do crossfit 3xweek and rockclimbing 1xweek. I'm really happy about this and I'm actually having a lot of fun doing it
  • After about one month I managed to lose 1 kg and I celebrated it with food :# :D Am I the only one that does this? I had a cheese empanada (small) and a dish called chupe de jaiba which is a crab dish but with loads of cheese. I was very surprised about how little I managed to eat tho. I actually only ate 1/4 of the chupe.…
  • Thank you for clariflying! :#
  • I did something similar when I started my weightloss journey a few months back. I made veggie and fruit juices (80% /20%) for breakfast and dinner and had a healthy lunch. I usually made myself a huge sallad with very little chicken or fish. I did this for about 3 weeks and lost a lot of weight but this was at the…
  • Start weigth 160,9 Week one: 160,9 week two: 158,7 August goal: 154 (new goal) First challenge: 143 Overall goal: 121
  • I'm having a bit of an issue with time management. I have crazy hours at uni so I'm basically there from 9:30 to 19:00. I have to plan a day before, make all my meals and drag everything with me everyday. Also, some days I've not had enough meat or sallad and gone a bit crazy trying to find healthy snacks on campus. It's…
  • Hope everyone's weekend went well!
  • YES! Coffe do miracles for for both sleepiness and avoiding cravings
  • I'm also not sure about how close the MFP calorie burn from exercise is, so I'm logging about half of what I actually do. I always try to stay under my calorie goal as well. Question, what is the 5:2? Does this have to do with nutrition or exercise?
  • Unfortunately no change for me this week, but hoping I'll shed a few lbs on next weigh in. Congrats everyone on their progress and keep it up!
  • I need to study for uni this weekend and I'll be sitting at my desk for long hours. I will do some quick circuit exercises both saturday and sunday (something like this: 20 squats, 10 burpees, 50 jumping-jacks and 40 sit-ups and repeat for about 5 sets). I bought some lean meats and lots of veggies that I'll be stirfrying…
  • Hi @MicheleStitches , thank you for the advice. I'll start measuring myself every two weeks and see how that goes. (Y)
  • @WicklowWanderer I'm not sure why this is happening. Some of my friends think it's due to muscle gain (muscle weighs more than fat) but I have a hard time thinking that I'm gaining that much muscle mass in two months  Might be sooome truth to it...
  • @WWnot I agree. Weekend challenge is needed!
  • I confess that I'm getting upset because even though I stay under my calorie goals and have added 3 times/week really intense crossfit sessions, I haven't seen real changes in the scale for ages... It's taking me about two or more weeks to lose 1 kg (~2 lb).
  • I've been going to Crossfit for almost 2 months now and it's not for the faint hearted. I like that I have no idea what I'll be doing that day as it changes everytime. It consists of a bunch of high intensity exercises and it kicks your bum every time, you just know you hare pushing yourself hard enough for it to work. The…
  • I too have an excelent hand-to-mouth reflex! This made my laugh! @tracylynnc I live in Chile where declining food is seen as rude, which is the main reason why I'm having a really tough time with this. But I think that some good adivce that has been given is to keep the weekends busy with different types…
  • Me too! We visited family that we hadn't seen for ages and they greeted us with homemade breadrolls, bbq and even more food. Back on track today tho! Don't be hard on yourself, it's ok to have a cheat day. Have a great day
  • I think it depends on weight/age/height and ohhh so many other factors like overall health, metabolism, etc. If you are really close to your ideal weight you'll probably lose less than 2 lbs a week and also might want to add exercise.
  • Hi everyone, I'm Daniela, 31 years old from Chile, currently studying environmental engineering. I've always been on the chubby side but have finally managed to lose a bunch of weight. I have also started excercising (Crossfit 3xweek). I'm not only trying to lose weight, I'm rather doing this to start a healthy habit.
  • I had tons of cravings before until I started having oats for breakfast
