  • The soy sauce was in a small packet rather then a bottle so it said calorie in take for that packets for chicken I just looked on the shops nutritional information per breast. I do see what you mean though :). I'll definitely invest in some digital scales. Even if I'm going a bit wrong with my calculations, I know I'm not…
  • I don't look at the ounces, cups when I input on here, I just work out the calories at home and then input a similar product on here so I can work out my calorie intake.
  • Right I see what you mean, those things were all packages but i couldn't find the brand listed so I just picked something of the same type, like any soy sauce but edited the amount , so the calorie content was the same as the packaged one (the one is eaten). Hope that makes sense?
  • Surely you must be gaining a little muscle or isn't exercising just damaging and weakening the body?
  • Thanks for the advice but what do you mean by all over the show? I measure so I know the calories exactly right, the food I've listed is the nearest to what I have but the a lories are correct. For example, yogurt, it's not the exact brand or flavour I have but its the same calories , I just couldn't find the exact on…
  • Very true, I know I look slimmer and more toned so I'm just going to be happy with that. The scales aren't the most important thing.
  • Really! That sounds crazy, I've not done Insanity but I know it's hard work. I'm definitely going to start measuring myself and not depending on the scale.
  • :) I'm definitely not giving up, I suppose it's a bit unrealistic to think I'll see a lot of change in a few weeks.
  • Thank you :). I know it takes time, I've only been really aiming to lose weight since three weeks ago so I know it might take a few more weeks for the scale to change. I just expected to see at least 1/2 pounds lost as I really feel like my body looks slimmer.
  • I'm pretty sure it was the morning last time , so I'll have another go tomorrow morning. I just feel deflated :/ I know exercise builds muscle , so I'm wondering if this is coming into it?
  • Thanks for the advice, I think you're rich straight away, I can 100% see that my waist is slimmer and my belly is also smaller. I might start to do that. I also wondered if I'm just building muscle too and that's adding to it.
  • No not quite yet, I still have over a week until them. I do drink a fair bit of water so I wondered if that made any difference? Is there a better time to weigh yourself? It's nearly 8pm here and I had dinner probably an hour ago.
  • Thanks everyone for your ideas and input :). What I mean by snacking, is a little something inbetween meals or maybe as a dessert, just something small, to take away hunger cravings and keep my energy up. I'm a little funny with some seeds too, it's frustrating
  • Yeah, I know you're right, I just always get into this mentality that if I'm trying rto lose weight, having a treat or 'bad' snack like 1 or 2 biscuits will badly affect it. It annoys me, I've done two hours of exercise today and like I said, still allowed 700 calories but I still have this silly battle in my head.
  • Thank you both :)), I'm going to try both. Chocolate chips will be a good way to stop cravings and I love jelly! I'm quite strict on myself and will barely let myself have any sweet, chocolate or things like that. I'm wondering if I need to be so strict? Surely as long as I stay under my calorie allowance I should be okay?…
