There are chair exercises you can do. I have been losing with diet changes alone. I need to add physical activity in but am finding it difficult because of my limitations (being run over by a car has led to problems and pain). I would try the pool as long as you don't have any open wounds that would be contraindicated. You…

That sounds like a horrible break. I live in central Kentucky. I've had this app for about 8 years but today is the first time I've logged in for about 2 years. I need to start tracking again. Running is not my thing.... unless you count running mu mouth.

This entire thread has made my heart warm 💓 I love all the furbabies!

Depression sucks. I've put 30# back on since May. I went to my parents house to pick up papers and got an intervention that my mom thinks I should file for divorce. I'm just trying to work on me and let the marriage stagnate like it has been 😣

There is plenty of support here. While I am too old for any military I have recently thought about learning to fly (have not even mentioned it to my husband as I know he will be adamantly against it). Good luck with your family and your goals

Good luck add in some extra exercise

Take charge!🦁

Topamax helped reduce my migraines. I also got my daith pierced. I still get the occasional migraine but I can usually know my auras before and I can medicate myself so it's not horrid.
-
Yup I've gotten several. Block block block

Not a physician but I am an ICU nurse, wife, and mom of three. It's difficult to take care of ourselves when it's on our nature to take care of everyone else first. I have found I feel better as a person when I take care of myself. Practice what we preach.

This is a 70#+ difference and when I look in the mirror I still see nothing but a chin gone. But side by side I don't have piggy eyes and I gave up on the contacts

Whoo hoo! You finished under your your own power! Now start shaving time off that time.
-
You can do it! You have a great attitude too and that means a lot

As a nurse I love proving the medical profession wrong. Congratulations on your continued success!
-
I recently achieved that accomplishment too.

1184 day streak here, I just don't post in the forums much

222 here. Want to get to 150 in 2018... Or at least closer. Down ~45# in 2017

I didn't weigh but I physically felt bad when I indulged. The heartburn was horrible when my eating habits were bad. I will weigh in a week when I get back home from work. I'm glad I'm back to my normal routine now.

I did day one yesterday, not sure I can keep up! I modified A LOT!

You are ready! I have been doing 5k's for 3 years now. I walk them. I started after my back surgery as a celebration because I could walk again. Don't worry about time run/ walk it, hey, first one will always be your PR to start with. Enjoy yourself!

Request sent.... ~100# to get rid of

I have gained back 10 of the 40 I lost and still have much more to get rid of. I am finding it more difficult to recommit this time around
-
Love that.... I have some days that scream SLOTH LOL
-
You may not be weight bearing but you can still get lots of upper body and about exercises in

It's so nice of the girl scouts to make those cookies in single serving size boxes...... yes I had that box of cookies for breakfast

I've been on nights for about 7 years as an RN what helps me most is bringing my own food and snacks. This past week I was fine with my scheduled 3 in a row but ended up being called in for a fourth night.... that night I had not had any food prepared so the cheesecake from the night before won me over, another nurse had…

Nights here! Been doing poorly with my choices lately. It helps me if I bring all my food/snacks from home.
-
That's not sad. I find the support here fantastic! Marathons.... I do marathons.... usually Netflix!

I think part of it is we are super critical of ourselves. I am 5'9" and I dropped about 40# I personally do not see it.... all I see is the fat that is still there, but others notice. I need to get rid of the excess weight for my health not to look better, although that is a positive benefit.
