  • I think it all boils down to what YOUR goals are. My goal is to lose 0.5kg a week. So if I am under my calorie goal, daily, I will lose more than that in the week. I don't really bother being super strict as long as I am satisfied! I think as long as you're satisfied then you are doing fine! For me, it's all about balance…
  • Honestly, Iced coffee is not the best for you. But balance is key! I say if you're going to drink it, drink it the way YOU like it! Then take the calories into account when planning your whole daily intake. Like if it's a morning or afternoon snack, have a smaller or less calories dense breakfast or lunch before hand.
  • No, do not abstain! That is proberly why you binged in the first place. Just start over tomorrow. Everyone falls off the wagon! Just get back on track, don't deprive yourself.
  • I have only had water & green tea every day for 11 days in a row (one day I had a couple of glasses of wine also). The peeing slows down once your body is used to it! I have found it suppresses my apatite too! I have at least 2 mugs of green tea (2 servings in each) & aim to drink 3 litres of water (not including the tea).…
  • I like simple rice & veggies! It is soooo filling & I often find I don't need an afternoon snack when I eat it. I use basmati rice mostly with corn, capsicum, spinach, peas, broccoli... Whatever you feel like!
  • That sounds so ludicrous! I have a friend who's experienced hitting a wall in weight loss & she actually upped her calorie intake, changed her exercise regime.
  • ️Breakfast: Banana & a double green tea (didn't feel well as it is shark week haha) Lunch: rice & vegetables Dinner: Spaghetti with grilled prawns & chorizo with a home made, home grown dressing made from lemon, lime & basil. Also contained grilled cherry tomatoes, sugar snap peas & capsicum! Was amazing! Snacks: I had…
  • I was the binge eating queen! I just learned not to deprive myself. If you feel like something then have it but in moderation!! Still count the calories & ulter your meals around that for the day. If I am craving bacon & eggs I have it but I poach the eggs & use short cut bacon & make sure I have some spinach & veg! Also,…
  • If you have drastically changed your diet this is a normal part of your body detoxing. If it continues much longer than a week look at adding more protein for sure! Also, remember not all calories have the same value! A prepackaged snack may have 70 calories but 70 calories of protein, veg or healthy fats will keep you…
  • Scrambled eggs (or egg whites depending on your goals) with veg! Mushrooms, onion, capsicum, tomato, corn, peas, spinach, broccoli.. & if you have roast veg left over from dinner you could always make a frittata? bit of salt & pepper or garlic (or any fresh herbs)
  • Would love some healthy lunch & snack ideas! No seafood suggestions as I am allergic ☺️ I have breakfast down & dinner I am getting better at but I am always stuck for lunch & snack ideas! thank you!
  • Hey there! Water retention does suck & weighing yourself at random times of the day is super discouraging! I heard that for the most accurate weight you wake up, use the bathroom & weight yourself first thing in the morning. Also, I have also been told to only weigh yourself once a week, not every day. These are just a few…
  • I am in the same boat.. only two years ago I lost between 10-15kg! since then I have put it all back on. I am just focusing on changing my habits slowly, being mindful of what I eat (the reason I am using MFP!), & just slowly changing goals. I set goals like: drink 3L of water every day this week, have at least a serve of…
