  • Apparently right now if I wanted to maintain I should be eating anywhere from 1800-2100 (i was looking at different sites) I barely go over 1400, so I know Ill need to take it slow adding calories otherwise Ill gain.
  • Yes, workout clothes is a great reward! I used to have to workout in baggy pants and huge loose XXXL tees because its all that fit, after losing over 100 pounds I treated myself to ALL knew workout clothes, all small pants and large tees and it was an amazing feeling. Id treat yourself with things you like. Maybe a weekend…
  • You can do it! Its okay to sometimes fall off the wagon, as long as you dont use it as an excuse to quit. You just have to get back on :) I had lost 102 pounds and then gained 40+ pounds back, now Ive lost 113 pounds :)
  • Im a little abnormal but thought Id share anyways, I always typically lose while on. Ive had my period though last 6 months, so Id be a little distraught if I never lost during that time. (Yes, ive had lots of doctor visits and exams and tests) so when I am on, Im always super focused on not giving into cravings. I do get…
  • Im 23, Ive lost 113ish pounds over a course of 2 years and mine isn't as bad as I thought it would be. Ive seen women my age who got weight loss surgery, lost a lot of weight, and had to have skin removal surgery. I have some loose skin on my tummy, but its really not that bad, and a little on my upper thighs. I wouldn't…
  • If you can lose weight while eating more calories than you should definitely be happy and eat as much as possible while losing, but you can definitely lose on 1200. Ive been between 1200 and a little less than 1300 and have lost 114 pounds. (I definitely wouldn't suggest going to 1200 unless for some reason you need to,…
  • My hormones had been out of whack for months...I was on my period for a solid 6 months (had lots of doctor visits and exams and tests and finally got it figured out- this is not a new problem for me) so Ive been off my period for almost 2 weeks now.
  • You know what youre right, I had been walking a lot while in Florida so I probably should have ate a little more.
  • I have seen many people get the surgery and have great results. Its really all up to you. For me, I would only suggest it if it were a life and death situation. Just know you can lose the weight without it and either way you'll have to learn a new lifestyle and attitude towards food.
  • Thank you all so much :) I really appreciate all the support!
  • Thank you both for the advice! Im going to try adding 100 a week without adjusting my workouts to see what happens. I still want to lose 12 pounds so Im not yet trying to just maintain. Ive gotten down to 162 but I want to get to 150, my height is 5'9.
  • Hey hey hey everyone! There is no need to get snappy :) we are all here for the same reasons, to lose weight and be healthy. Everyone is going to have different experiences, different opinions, and its great to talk about it, but no one should jump down anyones throat who disagrees with them. If you had a bad experience…
  • I will always support phentermine because it worked for me. The first few days yes my heart raced a little but thats it and it only lasted a few days for me. If I had a lot of negative side effects like others had, I would have stopped. But my body responded well and when I stopped taking them, I didnt gain anyany weight…
  • I know its hard, especially when you first start taking it because yeah you crave nothing, but you still need to eat. Eating too few calories isnt good for your body. I honestly just made myself eat 5 small meals a day until the pill wore off a little and didnt have that initial huge reaction.
  • No, phentermine is not for everyone, some people have side effects and some people dont. I used it, lost over 100 pounds and have kept it off without the pill. Im sick of reading people say how terrible it is because its a 'quick fix'. You cant use it, eat at a calorie deficit, then get off it and eat super large portions…
  • Im confused though a little because my fiance made an omlet tonight with pepperoni and bacon and I found egg, omlet in my packet and weighed it but is it not correct because of the bacon and pepperoni?
  • I normally eat it on toast but Im so scared to weigh it out hahah so I havent eaten it lately
  • Sadly no hahaha Im not looking forward to it though! :(
  • ^ see, everybody and every body is different and has different effects to it
  • I was on prescribed phentermine when I first started and when I went to a weight loss clinic. I was also taking the b12 injections. I liked them and they definitely helped carve my appetite. I always here how unnecessary they are and how its a 'quick fix' and youll gain all the weight back when you get off of them, but its…
  • Extremely! Im so glad I finally decided to buy one!
  • Exactly! I knew the package wasnt 100% accurate because it said about 28 pieces and they are obviously didnt sizes but dang I didnt expect it to be so off! And Ive realized I can eat more eggs than I thought because I dont add any salt or butter or milk so thats a plus :)
  • I have the fitbit blaze because I normally enjoy the actual look of a watch..but you guys have now gotten me interested in the alta lol it looks nice! Do you guys think the calories burned seem pretty reliable?
  • Ive thought about buying a food scale, just hadnt gotten around to it, but after reading this thread Im walking to the store NOW to get one!
  • I have seen numerous doctors and specialists and have had so many tests done and no one can give me an actual answer. They all justsay I need to find the right balance in my birth control to regulate it.
  • Thank you! It definitely is. Even though its been going on for so long its still emotionally and physically draining. I think this little gain is just from water and the extra hormones.
  • Im sorry youre having problems losing weight because of that :( ive seen 4 different doctors and a specialist and no one can give me answer other than my period is just dysfunctional. I really dont want to do anything though that would cause me to be unable to bear children because Im so young. I hope you get answers!
  • I changed my title.
  • youre definitely right and I apologize that I made my title misleading because I didnt mean to.
  • Again, sorry if people are confused about my post. I am NOT asking for advice on how to stop my period or why my period is lasting this long or anything along those lines. I am wondering if taking all this birth control is maybe making me gain. I am doing what my doctor says to do, so I dont need advice on anything related…
