some yoga is low impact. chair yoga for example. if you have access to a pool, aqua walking, aerobics etc

did 2 miles and tested out my back. it was supposed to be slow but well, i went for speed demon. back was fine. her paws were fine. sounds like we are good to go
-
i tweaked my back on weds. thought it was good saturday. over exerted. no run this weekend. so hopefully get a longer run in today. and get back on track. new foster dog will be taking up some of my time. hording situation. not potty trained. sweet as pie

@shanaber i hope hobbs feels better :( her paw is doing well. i don't have boots yet for her but the weather is improving so she gets to stay home for long runs till i can do unpaved trails. we'll get a few city runs in this week. she's been getting the zoomies and a little mischievous. i also got dirty looks not taking…

I have never heard this before and it's brilliant. totally borrowing this

i like to whip it. and then use it like ricotta

yay, that the snow is going to miss us this week

i usually run alone. i'm slow and run at random times. i didn't run this weekend. i was feeling run down and sunday had a migraine and running nose. i had off monday and combined my minimum mileage for monday and the weekend. migraine was gone but the nose was still running(way faster than me). my autopause got turned off.…

i can't speak to the diabetes part but run slower than you think you need to. run according to the plan. i would strongly recommend going to a local store and getting fitted for running shoes. local stores are also a great resource for local running groups, workshops, and fun runs
-
i use high impact c9 and just found brook juno which is being discontinued so if you can get to a local running store, there is a good chance they might be on clearance. (they run small)
-
they get a mix of purina dog chow and farm and fleet performance. the latter is local store brand and it is cheap but it has helped with shedding, coat, and poo smell. and they prefer it. when i foster dogs i mix whatever we have in with the regular food and they'll dig around in their food for the farm and fleet food

you can. weight loss is from a calorie deficit. you can lose weight without any exercise.
-
i used to the bridge to 10k. the plan started either at the end of c25k or from the couch.

The Foreigner so very good

i've had mine for year and i've lost weight. because ci<co

beautiful :)

i'm saying your reasoning doesn't make sense to me. but again, whatever works for you
-
definitely say something to your instructor. that's why they are there. we all have to start someplace. when i started yoga, i couldn't touch my toes. now i teach classes
-
:p me too

monthly question: my favorite place to run is either in the Olympic National State Park or Newport State park. I do at least one run at Newport a year and i wish i could visit NW Washington more often. it just feels magical.
-
i understand what you all are saying but I can't really agree with it. i wouldn't wear fake leather or fake fur either if i were a vegan but whatever if it works for you.
-
it could be a drop issue. brooks seem to typically be a bit higher with their popular shoes 10-12mm after getting fitted for NB this weekend, found out they are mostly 8mm but it's not large enough a difference that most people wouldn't notice. but it could be it.... speaking as a nonprofessional... foam rolling, rest…
-
the key is moderation. i've been known to indulge.
-
but it still tastes like something that is made objectionably. why eat it? if i objected to guns, i probably wouldn't play with fake ones...
-
out of curiosity... if you don't want to eat meat for ethical concerns, why would you want to eat something that tastes like it? I've never really gotten the point of "fake" meat

i do audiobooks while i am at work. getting 8 hours of reading in a day is awfully nice
