  • Thanks so much for all the advice/points. Since I mean for this to be a longer term change, I will take on board upping calories quite a bit. I will look at the longer term trends. I'm in no hurry so a slower rate is fine.

  • Welcome! I’m aiming for 1200 calories to 1300 calories per day. Life’s a bit hectic with a baby and pre schooler plus work, so I’m not getting the exercise I’d like.   • Keen to join you! I have 30lbs to lose too (although ideally in the long term I’d like to lose an additional 10). I’ve lost 4lbs this week but I think that’s because I’ve just started, and was over eating by a lot of calories. I’m sticking to 1200 for now (am not very tall).
