In your settings you can set it to show whichever nutrients you want to see on your diary. I set mine to carbs, sugar, protein, fiber so I can stick to low carb/sugar and then the advice above is good. if you put your planned meals in you can see what you're going to have and can always change it if needed.

I'm just starting the keto plan too. I have gone one week with moderate changes but got back on mfp to track everything.
