You can eat anything you want aslong as you can make it fit into your calorie goal. Count the egg rolls and eat them i say :)

Oh okay lol! That makes much more sense thank you

Thats exactly what im planning on doing, but im confused wont the rice calories have increased during cooking or will this all be taken into account as i have weighed every ingredient?

I love having 2 Weetabix (only 135 calories) with 240ML of skimmed milk. Really fills me up for a good 3/4 hours.

Saying that i can't wait to get back into a normal routine tomorrow! My tip is to plan the next few days in advance if you dont do already, ive just planned the entire week & its…

This definitely sounds like something i would do too! :)

Thanks for all the input everyone, I do exercises such as cardio and Gym Classes (Zumba etc) so do you think it will be accurate at measuring the calories burnt during such exercises? I'm not sold by the more expensive Fitbit's as i dont think i would need the additional features such as the sleep monitoring etc.

Finally made the pasta today. I made sure to rinse it off well, not sure if it was my poor cooking skills or the pasta, but it ended up tasting like a chewable plastic!

I will always pre log, sometimes a week at a time, which is a great help when doing a weekly shop too! It really helps me to stop going over my calories, and i always save room for a dessert/snack.

Thank you everyone

My question is how do you cope with over indulgent days? Do you eat at a greater calorie deficit the next day "to help reduce the impact" or do you stick with your original amount of calories you have been eating to lose weight? (Sorry only half of my message ever seems to post!)
-
Im glad im not the only one it does sound very tempting to just eat no holds bar! But your right its definitely not worth it. MFP is a great help @ seeing everyones experiences & helps a lot at not making the same mistakes! As for reverse Thanks dieting i think i will be upping my calories all 50-100 per week, to help ease…
-
Good idea! Please can you explain a little more about reverse ? I have not heard of this term b4 but I do like the sound of it! ☺
-
Wow congratulations on 3 years!! I think it will be the same and not calorie count over Christmas and eat at a defect over the holidays & not lack on keeping active!
-
Sorry 109LBS
-
Hi! I think its to do with my expectations of automatically having a flat tummy etc when reaching a good weight for my height. After looking on various chats on MFP it seems i need to include some kind of weight training to give my body more definition
-
Thanks! I will be sure to cheak it out!
-
My calories are hopefully quite accurate as i do weigh and measure everything out. I try and do cardio 4/5 times a week for atleast 30mins. I do have my activity level as sedentary as im an office worker so not genrally partically active and i don't count my exercise calories back as i have no accurate form of measuring it
-
Thanks for all your help everyone, im currently on a 1200 calorie a day. MFP is suggesting switching to 1450 calories to maintain. What are your experiences when following the suggested maintaib calories from my MFP? Are they quite accurate?
-
Hi! You don't need to eat back the calories you lose. If you are just starting out, it may be a good idea to simply eat 1200 calories a day, and after establishing a pattern of weight loss decide if you want to eat back calories burnt! :) (depending on how much you are losing) I personally dont eat calories back
