so far by eating healthy food & watching portion sizes, as well as regular exercise, I've brought my blood sugars down to normal for the first time in years! I'm on day 125 & am down 56 pounds got around 60 more to go.

having to lose over a hundred pounds is such a scary number. but small goals along the way make it so much better! I'm down 44 with 76 to go. I'm not dieting, i'm doing a lifestyle change. it's surprising isn't it for some food & watch out too for some of the so called "diet" foods. I always find if i have a higher sodium day that i gain a few pounds over the next few. All the best in your journey to health

Welcome :) Best advice i have is to read the sticky posts in the form here. I've learned so much from some helpful knowledgeable folks. Weigh all your food for the day & log everything no matter what. I love my fitbit, i find it is a reminder to me to get more active

i agree that your calories might be too low. I'm on 1600 calories & am still losing. i'm 5 feet. Bump up the calories, don't starve yourself. & weigh all your food. it will come off :)

if it was easy we'd all be in slim, lol. but i've learned lots on my 95 day journey by reading the forum here & learning. I've become more accurate in my food logs. i weigh everything, yes everything. I'm down 44 pounds

I've finally listened to my dr's advice of losing wight & getting exercise. I'm down 41 pounds & my blood sugars for the first time in ages are in the normal range. I'm amazed at how well i now feel. Keep it up & yes small changes work well

i weigh out my coffee creamer for each coffee. i use the 5% creamer, slowly cutting down on it. When i go through the drive through i get one milk. it just is taking time to get used to something different for me
