Get out of the "Cheat" mentality and realize that this is your life. In real life, you are going to go out and eat, sometimes overeat....And that OKAY! One high calorie meal wont make you fat just like one low calorie meal wont make you skinny. If you go out to eat and you splurge, enjoy it and move on with the next…

The only shame would be sitting at home on your couch wishing you were at that 5k! Go for it! Walk, run, crawl, you can do it!

decide what is most important, sleep or health. you decide.

I have PCOS and i eat back my exercise calories. This is bad advice. That would mean she was netting less than 1200cal per day which is not recommended. With PCOS, you want to count your calories and exercise and net whatever you want to net over 1200 while watching your carbs. carbs are not your friend when you have PCOS.…

use some olive oil with diner. eat some nuts. have an avocado. make a banana and peanut butter shake. its all too easy to get those calories in. WAY TOO EASY.

figure out what you would like to be your goal weight and eat the maintenance calories for your goal weight. you do not have to weigh your current self.

i have consistently lost about 1lb per MONTH for a little over 2 years. its tough when i see people who lose 50 lbs in 6 months but i just remember that it is not a race. im living life and getting a little lighter every day. My goal is in sight but i am in no hurry to get there. I eat at a very moderate deficit and i…

Let them know politely that it is your me time. just they way you posted here. let them know that you may be up for a weekend walk but you need your regular scheduled fitness time to yourself to regroup. they will understand. i am the same way.

I come from a family of addiction although i myself have never had the same issues. My brother and my mother are both alcoholics. they are both recovering, 1 for 4 yrs and the other for 6 mos, both after 10+ yrs of active addiction. It very much exists. To think that it doesnt shows pure ignorance. I do not think a person…

This is me. To a T! I try my best but really make sure I leave the brundt of my calories for the evening to cover the damage that I know i will do. I do it regardless of how much or what types of food i had eaten earlier in the day. Im actively working on it but it is very difficult!

1st, I am married. 2nd. I dont think a ring and a peice of paper matter at all. Myself and my husband dont wear our wedding rings, we have them, just dont wear them. People ask me often why I dont wear one and the answer is always the same... If a metal circle is all that you have holding your marriage together, you have…

No disgust. Sadness mostly because i remember how unhappy i was. i remember feeling uncomfortable walking into a room. But more than anything, i just feel proud of how far ive come.

I spent many years this way without even realizing it. I made up my mind one day when i started a new job that i would "fake it till i made it". And it has worked. I still repeat that to myself in situations to this day. Its been 5 years and i am so much better than i ever was before. Your mind will believe whatever you…

If you are eating at a moderate deficit TDEE minus about 20%, and losing 13.5lbs per month, you are just fine. It will absolutely level out in the long run. Eat a sufficient amount of calories, excercise if you so chose, and watch the scale go down! Its really that simple as long as you continue to log EVERYTHING! Dont…

My advice is to stay away from Meal Replacement Shakes unless you plan on drinking them for the rest of your life. Do not make any changes that are not lifelong sustainable. That is why i do not advocate meal replacement bars or shakes. If you cant keep it up forever, why start it now? Get in the habit of making real food.…

This is such a joke!

Ive done C25K. I felt exactly the same way you are right now. My advice is to not stop and walk. It is actually more difficult to do that, once your heart rate slows and you get out of your pace, its a nightmare getting back into it. YOU CAN DO IT! I never thought i would be able to but i did and i know you can too! Just…

This amazes me. I cant even begin to understand. When I see someone running, jogging, walking for fitness, I am ALWAYS overcome with joy and envy! I look at them and smile and think to myself "You go girl! You look awesome!". I have always felt this way and still do today. I think about 90% of people feel this same way. I…

You are my before and im hoping to match your after! great work!

Its a lose lose situation for everyone involved. The schools feel compelled to do something, they are damned if they do and damned if they dont. If they allow it to be okay and a shooting happens at their school, then all of the sudden the whole thing is their fault. If they dont allow it to happen, then they are just…
