Everyone is different, LCHF IS a healthier way to eat for ME and others. I feel like crap if I am still eating bread, pasta, rice and still in a deficit. It makes me sluggish, tired, moody, you name it. LCHF is healthier in my opinion. Not eating sugar and wheat has to be healthier?? I have read Wheat Belly and Grain Brain…

Agreed, it just needs to fit the low carb, high fat macro ratio...still fitting the macros

I´m on 1767 calories a day; I just concentrate on the macros though and that levels the calories out in the end. I´m 10 days in and never really hungry.

Look on PubMed if you are that interested, read a book: Grain Brain, Keto Clarity, The art of low carbohydrate living. Sorry I don´t have time to search out articles for you. If you are generally interested do some research on it...

This ^ Most people that follow low carb/keto see it as a lifestyle change and not just a diet. Especially those that follow it for brain function benefits.

I'm on about 1700 cals and get all my fat in with under 20g a day carbs. I use a lot of cheese, garlic butter and cream, love this way of eating!

I have one each morning, 15g of butter and 10g coconut oil and 1/4tsp of Losalt, yum!

I don't have constipation but I still want to make fermented foods, I backed a kickstarter campaign and got these cool lids for mason jars that release oxygen, no monitoring needed! Now I just need to find wide mouth mason jars, can't get them here in France.

Same can be said about CICO, what's healthy about scoffing pizza, cake and chips as long as you have a calorie deficit?

I think my breath has actually got better, don't have that horrible taste in my mouth anymore. Probably the lack of fermenting sugar in my gut!

I made a garlic, parsley butter to add to meals if I need to up my fat a bit, so tasty! Tonight I had lamb steak with the butter, spinach in a cream, cheese sauce that had gorgonzola, parmesan and dijon mustard and some baked brocolli.

Dinner last night was a green omelet, I blended the spinach into the eggs and had kale, red pepper, mushrooms, onion, jalepenos, chorizo, salsa and of course cheese! Macros: carbs 12g, net 8g(4%), fat 64g(72%), protein 49g(24%)
