Have you ever watched Alone? It's absolutely possible to drop that much but that's called starving. People often think that term means being really hungry. It is dangerous and will make you sick. Sicker than "I'll just eat have a burger and then make sure to eat at maintenance and I'll be fine." Sick like serious damage to…

Absolutely, IF buying organic means you are eating less calories than than you are now. Assuming you spend the same amount on groceries and the higher price of organic food, you would be buying less and eating less as a result. Whatever gets you to consume fewer calories will result in weightloss.

Yes!!! Everyone has an opinion on what you should or should not eat. There is a trainer at my gym that spews the most idiotic stuff to her clients. Have heard her talk about how bad shrimp is and if you hqd it in the last year you should do a 30 day cleanse to detox. Lettuce has no nutritional value and is such a dirty…

I am wary of any nutritional advice that demonizes foods humans have thrived eating. Same with superfoods. There seems to always be a study that contradicts it down the line. Stick to plants and animals and everything in moderation.

Yes and no. Yes because that is how I started and no because over time, what I liked/wanted changed. I have gotten a lot pickier because I don’t waste calories on something subpar. I fit what I want into my calorie allowance. Down 80lbs so far.

Same!!! Low calorie dinner sounds mentally awful to me.

I am complete reverse. I don’t see that changing. For 12wks? Sure. I could do it but not long term. What kept me on target was knowing I could fit pretty much whatever I wanted for dinner calorie wise. I focus on the foods I really want so my dinners are where I typically have majority of calories. If I had to have skimpy…

I don’t like eating in morning and am close to my goal so not something I will be trying. But if that was an easy jumpstart for people to start with, that would be amazing. Heard about it on an NPR podcast. https://www.npr.org/2016/05/31/479754700/food-for-thought-the-subtle-forces-that-affect-your-appetite

I also really like Panache

Yep. This is my favorite. Can find good deala on Amazon. Wearing a purple one now that I got for $28

5’7” and 165lbs. Size 10 mostly

They work for me.

We all know weight loss is deficient but do think there is something about exercises beyond the calorie burn that keeps you focused on your goal and makes it easier to stick to your plan. Mainly, it is a physical commitment that for me, I don’t want to blow the time or work I put in. It’s too darn hard to make that time or…

Ok. Will try that. Thank you!!!

Similar stats and truthfully, I had hard time seeing difference until I was out of 190s. Other’s could but I really think we are a bit blind to it. For me, I was so unhappy with my appearance that even knowing the loss and the inches gone, it didn’t feel like anything had changed. Once I was in the 80s, changes became…

Doing the same thing tomorrow. Fancy brunch place have been looking forward to trying for long time. Already know I’m going over but oh well. Being able to enjoy celebrations without guilt has been the best lesson I’ve learned. Have come a long way from old “all or nothing” way of thinking.

Fitbit has a new Inspire HR that tracks swimming. It’s time for me to replace as well and think I’ll go with that.
-
That isn’t a catch, it’s hypocrisy. Who cares what someone works out in? Anyone that makes it to the gym is doing pretty good imo.

Unless you have medical issues, eat what you want and don’t worry about it but am really surprised anyone would want three bananas a day. I’d like three slices of banana bread 🤣
-
I either make my own with whipping cream or buy a sweetened one like Bliss’s Salted Caramel. I do measure it as it’s easy to overdo but my morning latte makes me happy so I make it work. Same for afternoon cold brew. 🙄🤣
-
I consider my latte healthy. Lol
-
Unsweetened tea. I like Tzao Zen, jasmine green, and peach green iced and chai for hot
-
Cold brew with splash of sweet cream. It’s not as bitter as coffee.
-
Definitely not low carb here. Last night was spicy shrimp over potatoes (tossed in browned onions and tomato paste) with french bread. Avocado on English muffins today. Eat what you want but eat in your calorie budget.

Challenge Starting Weight: 168 lb Challenge Goal: 155 lb June 7: 165 June 14: June 21: June 28: July 4: ————- Has been a busy month and while I have lost, I have a lot to catch up to make goal by July 4th. I don’t give myself the option, like brushing my teeth. I go. It’s one thing if there is a real reason I can’t make it work but I don’t feel like isn’t a reason for me. I don’t have to go to the gym but I have to get something in whether that’s a run or just a walk.
