MFP goes without saying. 1. Food scale 2. Siggi’s plain whole fat yogurt (usually served with lemon curd and blueberries. Is a low calorie lunch/snack that satisfies me. Is like my anti-trigger food. Never go over calories on days I have it for lunch. 3. Godiva ganache truffles. 46 calories for something rich and…

Two things 1. Know you will go off plan, accept that, and immediately go back on plan. Wanna know why I got fat? Trying to be perfect, failing, and then saying to myself “might as well eat the whole pint now, and tomorrow, and the next day.” For humans, all or nothing will always result in nothing. Wanna know how I lost…

Halloween candy...smarties, reese’s, etc. I don’t even really like it so I just avoid it all together. Not sure why but if I have one, I just want to keep eating. Doesn’t happen with other chocolate or sweets. I can have one piece of what I consider good chocolate and be happy. But a mini butterfinger or peppermint patty…

I wish you all the best but don’t think this forum is a good match for you at this time. There is a lot of defensiveness and you seem to take everything that doesn’t agree with you as personal attack. Have seen multiple apologies within a few days. You speak of suicide attempts. You say you have a team of professionals,…

And if you are serious, start now, bot this weekend. Eat what you would normally, just stay within your calorie needs. It really is as simple, and as hard, as that.

Last year this time of year, I was relearning to walk because of neck injury. Has been painful journey and but have lost 70lbs since June. You don’t need to exercise, you just need deficit. Have been slowly increasing exercise but can promise you, it’s not necessary.

Iced tea. I really like jasmine, peach green, and Zen by Tazo (green +mint). Oh, Tazo makes a lemon pound cake tea that is amazing iced as well. Add four tea bags to pitcher of boiling water and brew 15-20min. You don’t need plain water.

As long as you stay in deficit. 🤣

Counting calories hits people where it hurts. There is no free lunch so to speak. People want a diet that allows no limitations on something and are willing to cut out a lot of things for autobahn eating. As long as you can eat as much as you want of something, then it’s doable. I think that is why dieting tends to be so…

I read a good one on quora this morning: “Eating like a thin person won’t make you thin.”

The last time eggs were demonized the country went low fat. That turned out well. 🙄

That was my question. My current calories are below what my goal weight maintenance supposedly is. When I did a maintenance week to take a break, I was using my goal maintenance so was just in a less dramatic deficit. I hadn’t thought about it until today but a true break would have been based on current weight. Thank you…

These would be such a trigger food for me. I would keep eating them. That is the thing, you need to find what works for you and not all sweets are equal. I love sweet tarts but there is something about them that having one serving makes me want to suddenly eat all the things. Is similar with most popular halloween candy. I…

I like it cold. If you drink it often, would be good to rinse mouth after. The acid can damage tooth enamel.

I have a huge sweet tooth. I make or have a really indulgent dessert about once a fortnight. Sometimes twice 🙄. That gives me something to look forward to and makes it easier to avoid treats that are just there but I don’t really love. Quality over quantity didn’t happen over night but have mostly gotten there. I make sure…

Hahahahaha!!! That made me actually lol

Also, for some people, was a good way to reset palate and notice how certain foods may cause cravings amd such.

Loved the whole 30! It isn’t for weightloss though and with the restrictions it has, I absolutely wouldn’t be counting calories. Just getting through each day was hard enough lol. It is excellent for figuring out if you have food sensitivities and how different food groups may affect your body. Food can cause inflammation…

Challenge Goal: 168 ———— 2/27: 182 3/6: 178.4 3/15: 173.2 3/22: 173.2 ———— Literally the exact same as last week. Have been on point with calories and workouts. Weight was up all week so at least didn’t have to post gain today. Still frustrating. Was at 176 one night. Think body is being weird as result from whoosh but I…

I didn’t have a response to it. I mean, what is there to say that the 70lb I’ve lost hadn’t already said? If she is ever ready, she knows I’m here for her.

“I could eat the same as you and wouldn’t lose weight. There really isn’t such a thing as overweight, it’s where your body naturally wants to be and it’s pointless to fight that so eat another cookie.” Slightly paraphrased but yep, someone really said that to me.

I don’t track mustard, vinegar, hot sauce, siracha, or spices. Everything else, yes.
