I have mostly been in deficit since June with only a few holiday/special occasions as exceptions. Even then, I balanced those days out over week to at least maintenance. Quest is delicious. Love their vanilla milkshake and cookies & cream...especially blended with ice. Target has a decent vanilla too.

@Stellamom2018 right? 145 puts me in a healthy bmi but that brings up something that probably should have been more obvious. Do people pick weight based on final bmi? 145 would be 22.7 bmi for me.

This was me yesterday. It was unplanned and I’m sticking to my regular MFP daily calories today. Figure trying to balance it will feel like punishment and is more important for me to be able to get back on track than making up those calories.

Grilled squid! Super easy. Score insides, marinate in olive oil, lemon, and some spices. I like oregeno, crushed peppers, and thyme. @AnnPT77 the Pom was delicious on the Brussel sprouts. The kids loved it too. Was a great way to use it but wouldn’t recommend buying just for that. Think you could achieve similar with balsamic glaze. Going to it will red pepper/walnut dip and beef. Will report back.

For me, I had to tell myself some hard realities. Starting was very painful...but I was in pain anyway. You get to a point where every day is a chance to get stronger or stay weak. 3mo are going to go by regardless of what you do during them.
