Just love waking up, getting my coffee and reading all the wonderful comments. Did my weigh in yesterday, SW 255, CW 156 (1/2/20) goal is lose at least 16 more, maybe even 20. I am so enthused to be on this team. Thank you all for your support. Yesterday: 40 min on the elliptical (two separate times, can't do 40 yet) with…

Dang another question, what is LTD?
-
Sorry for all the early on questions, I thought I saw a exercise to step calculator someone shared. Found this one, is this close enough? If yes....double the steps on my elliptical than what is on my FitBit....sweating up a storm. https://www.pehp.org/mango/pdf/pehp/pdc/step%20conversion%20chart_FFB805BB.pdf

Megan_smartiepants1970 I think I may have overestimated my step goal. LOL After 20 min on the elliptical I only have 1500 steps. Maybe put me down for 7000 too, if I get that far I will try to increase. Back to the elliptical to get 1500 more steps.

Naive question peeps, if I use a fitbit while on an elliptical will it measure my steps correctly? Gonna’ start using that baby again since I can’t really walk with anyone here. I did not give much of an intro, so here I go. 59 years, live in Northern California. Have a son and two grandkids, two pups, two horses. Hubby…

Username DawnCumm Weigh In Day: Saturday PW (Previous Weight): 255 CW (Current Weight): 156 Question: Do I update my PW to 156 next Saturday or does it stay the same? I would like to join the step challenge with 10,000 steps per day. Have a long sit down job daily so even this will be a challenge. 59 years and my goals…

Thank you all for the welcoming comments. I have a lot to learn on how to post, etc. Question: can I move my weigh in date to Sundays? LOL, figure that day is more apt to make sure I don't get sidetracked by work. Looks like you guys ask us to chime in on that day, right? Basically stats and progress? Personally, looking…

My join request is four pages in, so not sure if I am on a team or not.....so many messages. LOL, what a great response. Just wanted to mention that I don't see an invite. I do realize that many are waiting, just didn't want to get lost in the swirl of messages. Fingers crossed!

Hoping I can get on a team b4 tomorrow, is that the start date? Or do I need to post on the other site that are in many peoples responses?

Could not agree more Nicole, you are my hero five years out and still engaged / doing well. I have three years down and waver every now and then but trying to at minimum use the FP food diary to keep me within the lines. Now I just have to keep up the streak of logging in and engaging with you all. After this week,…

So peeps, how are you doing? Everyone back on the wagon? Just one week out and dragging behind, not sure I am actually on the wagon yet. Figure one day a week I will allow me to have some items that I should not (mainly a glass of wine) just to keep me from going crazy and because my grandkids. LOL Sunday family dinner.…

Let's do it together! I am just getting back on the wagon, this year has been pretty tough. The stay at home has for some reason pushed me into bad habits. Starting today, day one about done! tracking and getting my protein. yay!!! let's all do day two, three, and so on!!!
-
I too am three years out and wavering. Hoping to get back in synch with good habits starting NOW!!! Reading, posting, logging are all things that work for me. When I go AWOL you know it is not going well. LOL

Lots of parties and gatherings this month. Great fun but a little bit of havoc on my goals. I do keep going up a few pounds and down a few every other week it seems. But as of today I have lost two of the 15 I want to be down by December. I am a super slow loser and just want the long term satisfaction of getting to goal…

Not into beating myself up when I make poor choices, one person quoted 'you have not failed if you keep trying'. try to keep that in mind. I like reading the posts and there has been a monthly group that keeps each other accountable, that may help. I just keep on trucking....not always perfect and not trying to yo/yo diet…

I always seem to come in mid-month, just can't get my ^%$# together! I really need to lose another 15 and get moving....had to quit my gym a month ago. I do have to go back to the doc in 6 months so that is my goal. 15 in six months is totally doable even at my age and slow loss trend....so off I go...... Also want to…

This month for me is a tough one, all about celebrations, which for my family is food. I went down three, then up two. Hope be keep the one off by end of month but out of town with work and lots of catered meals, so fingers crossed I can make it work. First few weeks of June are my get back into healthy mode time frame. I…

Checking in.....down 1.3 from last week. I am out of town all this next week with a family gathering where I am pretty certain the food will not be all that great for me. Wish me luck! Around 15 of us in a home with tons of really high calorie food and celebrations. My hope (not a strategy) is to at minimum not gain the…

Summer is coming, let's do it peeps!!!!

So I guess it is Monday check in. Did ok not great but lost half a pound. Not huge but I will take it. Goal this week is to track everything and no wine during the weekdays. : )
-
May 8th, joining late but I need to get on track. My main goal is to track my food and stay within my nutritional limits. And stay away from wine!!!!! My nemesis.

Glad to see all are doing fairly well. I too did ok this weekend with food and exercise, have the grand-kids for two weeks for Easter break so that is keeping me busy. Really trying to do well this week because we are headed to the ocean for a few days after Easter, so I know I may make some choices that were not well…

I am very late to this party!! So wish my month had gone better but I am joining now. Hopefully you guys will keep going in May (will have a little more bandwidth then). Lots of travel and work that kept me away from the gym, emergency stuff with family and now of course Easter. Taking my grandkids to the beach so that…

Been a vegetarian for well over 30 years so it is hard to think what not to make. I love to make soup and bean recipes this time a year. We do roasted cauliflower as a main, friggin wonderful. Had Sheppard's pie last night, use lentil or mock meats to replace beef. I love, love soy curls you can buy them on Amazon and…
