I weighed in back to normal this morning. Very relieved.

Yeah I definitely have been overeating the few days after but like 4 pounds worth of overeating seems like a lot. I need to get that in check.

Oh I just turned 50 in December and I am pissed off that I was not my healthiest then so have made a vow to be my healthiest at 51. I need to lose about 35 to 40 pounds. I am trying to figure out how to friend people but it will only let me send a message. Is that how I friend? Or feel free to friend me if you would like.

Flying Pig half (Cincinnati) - May 1st Ragnar Relay Colorado August 12-13 Wineglass Full Marathon (New York)- Oct. 2nd I would like to be running all my long life:).

Also holy crap you have lost 100 pounds!!! Did you do that through running and diet? Very impressive and very nice job!
-
Ok I though was open but I had it at just friends. Just opened it up. All right keep in mind that the past couple of days have been good ones for me. I have been hungry but not unbearable. Before that I believe I may have just been pretending to be on a diet

Yeah I am never hungry for a salad
-
I would like to join.

Ha, I said just one. I am training for my fourth. Every five years or so I get a bug and just have to prove to myself I can do it. Good luck on your first!!
-
Wow. Good to hear. You lost fairly quickly while still training. Fast marathon!!

Interesting. I think it is clear that I need to spend a whole heck of a lot more time and energy on the food part of my weight loss journey. I need to plan better obviously and tighten up on the extras that I have here and there.

What are you doing that is working? How are you feeling for your workouts? Care to share?

Ok cool. I will give that a whirl. Half my exercise cals. Eventually I will get used to the reduced amount of food right? I seem to be hungry all of the time. Honestly I am never sure if it is real hunger or just in my mind. I have an incredibly boring job where I sit at a computer all day and that gives me a lot of time…

Honestly I would be happy to see any loss at all. Ok so set my tracker at 1 pound a week loss. I wear a heart rate monitor with my garmin and mfp pulls my runs/exercise from there. Do you guys think the calorie burn is fairly accurate that way? I eat exercise calories right? As long as at the end of the day I am close and…

I have actually this week commuted to a strength training class a few days a week. It is kind of a boot camp sort of thing but with weights and TRX bands. I have to say cross training has never been something that I have done with consistency along with running. I just run. The protein thing is a challenge for me. I have…

Thanks. I will check it out. I love to read. I am so far from racing weight it is not even funny. I would be happy to even see easy running weight. I feel like I am at slogging weight right now.

I do. I have about 35 pounds to lose. I need to figure it out. I have to figure out how to lose and train. Feel free to friend me. I can use some motivation and help.

Well I ran a Half yesterday. I have another half on May 1st. Then I figure my full training can start after that. My full marathon is the wine glass in New York on Oct. 2nd. But I am running a Ragnar Relay in Colorado August 11th so that will be very challenging since I live in Michigan and train at sea level. I am going…

Oh glad to see this. I ran a half marathon yesterday and woke up 3.5 pounds heavier this morning. Very depressing.

I turned 50 this year and honestly my weight has climbed each year as I have aged. I am active and have no problem with exercise. It is all food for me. I run half marathons and done a few full marathons and yet with running an average of 20 to 30 miles a week my weight still climbs. I now have about 35 pounds to lose and…
