I have a flex and so far it's doing very well for what I wanted it for. To roughly calculate my TDEE from a day-to-day basis and so far it seems fairly accurate

Oh snap there is some mean comments in this message board. Anyway OP, its true that eliminating things entirely from your diet doesn't set up well for long-term sucess. Especially if you "crave it" the more here and there you give your body what it "craves" the less intense and less frequent cravings become. Seek balance.

If you like simple foods make them. Do you mean simple like in terms of "whole foods" like grilled chicken, whole steamed/roasted veggies, whole fruits, etc or do you mean something else ? What do you normally prepare and how?

To echo some people here. Eat what suits you for breakfast. I had marinaded octopus salad with a hunk off an Italian loaf for breakfast before. Today it was rice and beans with carribean chicken. For lunch I'm having eggs and toast. Eat what ya like

I'm sure... It's probably very different. I'll try tallow soon, I love me some burger flavor! Growing up with your dad frying eggs and chorizo in lard for himself every weekend and making the whole house smell like a sweaty pig will really turn ya off to the stuff tho.

Ah looks incredible! I love quiches so I'll have to try a frittata! I think I would forgo lard tho, can't stand the stuff . The only time I had to eat bland food was when I was suffering from gastritis. You don't know bland till you know GI issues bland.

I've got three options to reccomend. Take a look at your calorie goals and fit in whatever desserts you want for a day. Stick to the plan. OR Let the craving subside. Plan on having a dessert tomorrow. Pick something you really want and tell yourself you'll have it for breakfast only. Chances are you probably won't want it…

@californiagirl2012 wait what's fruit loop protein powder? I really like to have it with tinned fruit. I know... Lame. I also like to eat it plain, in place of ricotta etc. I actually don't even mind the low fat ones but I think most people dislike it. I pretty much like all cottage cheese.
