Sorry not good at this, where is the log? I can see the drive and 0kcal for it but it's still adding on the steps on my step count. I thought it would stop adding the steps in that time?
-
Thanks in weekly view, net or total?

At the top of mfp I get calories allowance for the day - food calories eaten + exercise calories that = how many calories I have left for the day. The exercise calories is what I mean. It's going down not up with the more steps I do. I'm confused. I look at what the = is for what I can eat that day and it's going down not…

Well what I means is, it shows the drive on my Fitbit app but it doesn't adjust the steps. The juddering steps are still on my Fitbit and Fitbit app?
-
How does it show on Fitbit app? I've downloaded it to try it but it doesn't seem to have done anything on my account or steps level?
-
Aw thanks

I have done all that on my week view do I want net or Total?

No I started this morning with about 180 taken off as exercise giving me 180 kcal extra I can eat today but as I've walked around today and my steps have got higher, the 180 is now down to 8? So I can eat less today so far even though I've done 2000 steps?
-
Sorry to ask again, I've started today. I'm on sedentary and I don't understand as my amount of steps is going up this morning my amount of kcal taken off for exercise in mfp is going down the more steps I do? I thought the more steps/active I am the more calories I can eat that day ? Why is it going down? I'm so proud of…
-
Also why when I've done more steps, the amount of calories its taken off as exercise is less than it was an hour ago?
-
Thanks your wonderful and have helped me loads. I'm all set for in the morning :), just wondered, I understand how often the zip updates my Fitbit account. But how often does that sync with mfp? To adjust my days kcal goal?. I'm starting sedentary and hoping my allowance goes up ( as its 500 kcal less a day than I was on)…

I've looked everywhere but there is no option for negative adjustments on my app under diary settings. I have an iPhone 5s , iPad mini and Fitbit zip?

Thanks

How is the weekly calorie goal worked out? Am I looking at calories under/over weekly goal? I've added up my past 7 days and the number I get for an average (divided by 7) or the number I make if calories under-calories over don't make the numbers on there. So what do I aim for? I like to use up my calories left that are…

So what do I log when I take it off I don't do any actual swimming just walking round pool and playing with my son
-
Th thanks, I understand now
-
So when I add my fit bit, i will go down to sedentary that will lower my calorie goal a lot. And the Fitbit just keeps increasing my calory alounance for the day as I do steps/burn calories?
-
Thanks. Eggs, I didn't realise :). I like some meat, just not much. I eat a lot of chicken and mince sometimes in pasta dishes, but I'm more a salad, fruit and veg girl.
-
Editorggrl just wondered which Fitbit do you use?
-
Meant hunny not bunny!!!!!! Haha
-
Thankyou hunny, I think I'm getting the hang of it and I'm sure I won't put the 2 stone back on if I'm careful I think I need to be a bit more patient of finding the right calorie intake.
-
Thanks bunny I'm thinking the same it's probably a waist of money as it won't really log what I do as I don't do any exercise as such I just have a busy life. I guess I just need to find the right calorie level for me on here :)
