I just started and my goal is 1570 and I've got 100lbs to lose. I'd starve if I tried to adhere to 1200 a day. I've tried that in the past and got hunger headaches and then gave up.

Oh yeah, I know the shakes are not a long term solution but I have found so far that I am less tempted to cheat if I am less tempted to eat. Drinking the shakes is kind of like going cold turkey on food. I can't stop eating altogether but this is the next best thing. I love food way too much to ever give it up completely.…

So I just joined this site. I had a blood draw on friday to check my A1C because I've been having some unsettling symptoms. I think I'm diabetic. My doctor does too, but will find out on Monday.
