-To be able to LIVE my life & enjoy it -To have people laugh around me and not assume I'm what they're laughing at -To give my kids all the experiences they missed out because mom was too big (jet skiing, rock climbing, ziplining, you name it) -To not stay home because I have worries like "will I be the biggest one there?"…

I have more than 100 to lose!!! Feel free to add me too. I'm pretty new to all of this too, but am down 15 pounds so far. I WILL NOT give up. Zero excuses. I want to be able to live my life, not merely exist. I want to outlive my children. I'm tired of hiding.

Instead of smores, we bought a jar of marshmallow fluff and dipped strawberries in it and roasted it (thank you Pinterest for that one). My daughter used way more fluff than I did, but yummmmmm! And we brought lots of fruit and carrot sticks (instead of chips & junk) to munch on. For supper one night did portabello…

The "you could have lost 6" sounds JUST like her. Man I hope I don't do this to my kids :) And the friend that posted that to your Facebook? Wow. Just wow. Yes, I'm finding that this website/app are my new best friends and the only ones I'm going to discuss weight loss with I think. If people notice the loss & want to ask…

I don't have any tattoos (mainly because I get Keloid scarring and was afraid I'd end up with a nice pink puffy scar instead of a picture LOL) but I've thought about getting something as a permanent reminder pounds are gone & not to gain them back. Still debating... ;)

Thanks for sharing!! My "I have to do this" goal is 80 pounds in 13 months. (I'm cheesy...next July I want to wrap up 40 items in a box & give it to myself to represent 40 pounds lost for ME and wrap another one & present it to my girls to signify 40 pounds lost for THEM). Really I'd love to have a box for each girl &…

Thanks everyone! I've been reading lots under the success stories & on a motivation scale of 1-10, I'd call myself a 12! I've been taking super tiny baby steps (giving up soda, cut back on sweetened drinks, parking further away, etc) until about 2 weeks ago. 2 weeks ago I pretty much eliminated all sweetened…

Thanks everyone! I literally had to force myself to eat today...I think eating healthier food is actually fueling my body instead of the crap I had been giving it just making me sluggish. I am doing little things to increase my movement but can't wait until it's so difficult to lug this weight around! Logging every bite I…

I'm in love with this site already. Hearing other people say they've done it makes me feel even more determined! I know this won't be fast or easy...but will be SO worth it!

I'm Amy and I'm 38 years old (is it sad that I had to stop & think for a minute?). I will be 39 next month and my overall goal is to lose over 200 pounds. My shorter term goal is to lose at least 80 pounds by my 40th birthday (40 for me and 40 for my girls)...really I'd LOVE to lose 120 pounds by then (that would only be…
