Great job listening to your body. I recently made the decision to eat at maintenance for a day or two during my period and it makes a huge difference in my energy level and ability to keep up with life in general. Welcome back!

Yayyyyyyyyy!!!!!!

Great job so far, and welcome! You are absolutely not alone. Many of us are struggling sometimes, it's normal. The lifestyle change isn't easy, we have to work through whatever it was that caused us to overeat to begin with. Some days are awesome and some are kind of low. I've lost 50 lbs since last March. I was 1lb away…

Btw, both my sister and I are hypothyroid and have gluten intolerance. It's interesting how they seem to go together for both of us.

To go along with what @Wickglamgirl mentioned, you can make your own sauce to save yourself on sodium and add veggies. I like to cook whole tomatoes with low sodium veggie broth, water, onions, garlic, carrots and a little sweet potato. It's not super low cal but you can use the recipe builder to keep track of the calories…

There are lots of great workout videos on YouTube. You should be able to find something to fit your needs and fitness level.

You regularly inspire me to do better.

Hi and welcome, I've been here just over a year. I'm sending you a request.

My diary is open to the public. Feel free to take a look. I know it hasn't bee great recently but it's pretty honest. Good luck with your training!!

I keep a 16 oz cup in the bathroom and start my day with that when I take my pills. I also have a 20 oz cup with a straw on my desk that I like to fill at least 4-5 times during the day. I have found that I am craving flavor lately so I tend to brew decaf tea and have some unsweetened tea with lemon for much of the day. I…

Hello and welcome! Great job so far. I'm sure you're going to reach your goal and we're all here to help if needed.

Congratulations on taking the first step and admitting you have a problem. I hope you were able to stick with your plan last night and that you're feeling okay today. Addiction is a powerful foe. It's going to be a fight but we're all here for you to offer any support that we can.

I am a huge fan of thrift stores and clearance sales. Unless something is really high quality I don't want to spend the money to have it tailored when it's going to need to be done again in 10-15 lbs.

You should be so proud!!

I'm a 40DDD and I love Glamorize sports bras. I happened to take a progress pic last night so I have a recent picture. What I like about them is they are constructed like a regular no wire bra but have a panel in the front that you can adjust to increase how much support you need depending on what activity you are doing.

Yesterday my 6 yr old nephew said to me "Auntie Stacy, you're the best". This was while I was treading water for about an hour about 10 feet from a floating dock in the lake at my parent's campground. I was playing life guard for my 6 and 4 yr old nephews as they jumped into the lake from the dock. I think I had as much…

Yahoo!!! You should be so proud of your hard work.

I think that for many people it's tough for them to get the image of our larger selves out of their mind. They are so used to seeing us at the heavier weight that the healthy weight is shocking to them. I really like what @Spliner1969 was saying about slowly transitioning to maintenance calories while still exercising.…

When I was following a low carb plan a few years ago I used to have a grilled chicken breast with veggies and a little olive oil for breakfast. Really, you can eat whatever tastes good and fits your plan. It doesn't have to be 'breakfast' food.

Log what you can remember that you've eaten and start again with your next meal. There is no reason to throw away your whole week. You can get back on track, we've all had tough days and even weeks.
-
Absolutely! Great job so far.

I've been doing SL for about 4 weeks. I still do cardio on my non lifting days but maybe 45 minutes instead of 90 min. I feel good and listen to my body. If I have the energy I will do more cardio, if I'm feeling worn out I do less. I feel like my weights are progressing well and I am noticing changes in my body shape.

@macymgc, Congratulations for making the decision that you are worth the time and effort. It won't be easy but we're all here working toward a healthier version of ourselves and are ready to support you.

I bought the Fitbit Charge last year around this time. I loved it. The band actually seperated from the tracker and Fitbit replaced it without question (Fitbit customer service is terrific). I decided to upgrade to the Charge HR and my hubby is using the Charge. I like having the HR option and have found when I compare it…

There is definitely a difference. Great work!

I made pasta with fresh campari tomatoes that I heated with a little olive oil, salt and Italian seasoning. Simple, fresh and flavorful.

@MommaLovesToLoseIt. Great job on the first 100lbs. You are awesome!

I like to weigh myself every day, or pretty close to it. I track my weight every time I weigh in. I like to look at the trend and see what meals or activities seem to influence the numbers. It's a personal choice and you should do what makes you feel good. If you can handle seeing the fluctuation from day to day, try it.…
