  • I have a hand held one, love it. I use a toothbrush that I now keep in the kitchen to clean mine. Gets all the way in there and doesn't shred my fingers :)

  • Keep with it. The first week I felt like someone ran over me with a truck and I had headaches for three days....plus I didnt lose anything! Week 2 I was firmly in ketosis and dropped 3 pounds. I feel better and have lost that awful bloated feeling and that brain fog has lifted. Dont lose patience :)
  • Lower carb choices, stick to complex carbs like whole wheats, sweet potatoes, brown rice, etc. Decrease processed carbs such as white potatoes, chips, white rice, pastas. Some vegetables have a higher glycemic index than others. Corn will spike your blood sugar must faster than green beans as an example.
  • Coconut oil, butter, heavy whipping cream, olive oil, bacon, avocados, cheese... I make a coffee in the morning with butter and coconut oil all blended together. Starts my morning and keeps me from getting hungry until later.

  • I put a tbsp of coconut oil and a tbsp of grass fed butter in mine...whiz it around in the blender and emulsifies it all. Makes a smooth creamy coffee with a nice froth on top.
