We can do it! My doctor told me to slowly start adding starchy veggies back into my diet. I miss those potatoes! Beer was rough but when I look in the mirror I'm unhappy and that helps me get over the beer.

I should've used my sarcasm font :) I visited a 'Keto support group' and realized I was out of the league. No offense, but those are some strong willed people. I want to be healthy, but I can't follow a plan that is too complicated.

I've thought of that as well, but my willpower has (thankfully) been strong. My goal is in sight and I'm feeling better already. One day at at time :)

Thanks for asking. I plan to slowly incorporate these items back into my diet. I've never been fond of pasta or rice, but those potatoes had a death grip on my palate. I'm down 13lbs in two weeks cutting out potatoes, rice, bread, pasta, and beer. I am obese and need the weight off for my health. My doctor and I will add carbs back into my diet soon.

I was 198lbs on 03/21/17 and I'd like to be in the 170's by Mother's Day (5-14-17) so I guess I'd like to lose 20lbs in two months. I weigh every week and I am already down 13 lbs as 4/7/17. I'd like to be in the 150's by the end of July...when I get to go home for the first time in 3 years :)
