I loved Panache bras. They totally support larger breasts. I went from a 46G cup to a 36H cup... go figure. I've since had a breast reduction and let me tell you.... its totally liberating being a C cup. They don't make the panache bra in my size I don't think :( Its a shame because I thought it was a great piece of…

That you will have to learn to deal with stupid and unrealistic expectations from other people... Like the woman in my office who complains constantly about being overweight (she is a little), and yet HATES exercising and refuses to do anything more taxing than shopping for food (those food bags weigh a ton you know, it…

Hi, I have been in this sort of relationship before myself and to be honest he is not going to change. Eventually his attitude made it virtually impossible for me to be happy, nothing made him happy. My honest advice is to leave him. If you cant bring yourself to leave him permanently then just take a two month break from…

I'm 5'6 and my goal weight is a healthy 135 pounds if that gives some clarity. 145 is also in the healthy weight range.

To a friend eating fried potatoes. "Enjoy your lump of sugar honey!" She's a good friend, knows of my weight troubles and just laughed. But honestly potato equals sugar to me

Thank Dan. I'm wishing that mfp had a "like" button in the forums

Sorry Dan, I tried. Got to 7pm and was so hungry that I ate 1100 calories in a single sitting. At the time my glucose was in the 60's and ketones at 2.9. So It kind of backfired for me. It's not my macro's either. I keep them at 5/20/75 about 98 percent of the time. Even when I muck it up my macros are low carb at…

This totally happens to me when I eat too many carbs, especially grains. One slice of bread will have my feet puffy and uncomfortable. It takes two or three days for it to go back to normal. Its one of the reasons that bread doesn't even tempt me anymore.

I think that it was the fact that at 5'7"and under 100lbs, Kate Moss was the poster child for too thin at the time she said this. She was an unrealistic, unobtainable, unhealthy role model for millions of teens and young adults. Anyone with half a brain who was not anorexic could clearly and readily see that. That's why…

Week 3 1. Continued to do cardio for 45 minutes and weights every second day this week. 2. Finally hit 10,000 steps on my Fitbit. Only on days where I work out. 3. My dog loves me. We go for a fifteen minute to half an hour walk every day this week.
-
Week two: Tried those egg muffins. Yum. Filling
-
Week two: Started my exercise regime. Working out every second day. On days I don't work out I try to go fur at least a one mile walk Fitbit working as a great motivation for me. Between 5000 and 8000 steps per day. Haven't hit the magic 10000 once :( I cannot explain how much of a life change this amount of activity is…

Sometimes I put a drop of peppermint oil in my glass of water, and shake it up a bit (with a lid on of course). It's zero calories and carbs and it's refreshing. It's a change from lemon slices.

One week.... SIX pounds. Whoohoo

Oops again. How do you delete accidental posts?

Week 1: I tried bullet proof coffee. Delicious and surprisingly filling. Also reduced my whole carbs to 10%... Was previously coming net carbs at around 20%

Oops.

Oh goodness. Goats are soooo cute

Ok. I'll do that, Thanks

thank you folks. I appreciate the advise. I don't have any underlying medical issues other than obesity related pre-diabetes and hypertension according to my doctor. I'm thinking I will start counting whole carbs instead of net carbs and keeping it less than 50 a day. Lets see what that does!!! I enjoy this way of eating…

I eat a protein bar that my nutritionist recommended. It's a bit high in carbs and sugars though. Nature valley high protein bars. Sometimes I boil up an egg and eat that. Neither are particularly filling and I use them to get over 1000 calories a day. My appetite (which was always a beast on higher carb, low fat diets) is…

Wow. Just wow. How hard was it for you to eat meat again?
