I'm having this issue too. My goal has been 1200 calories for most of this year and I normally stay at that. I'm now looking to increase my activity level by walking more and doing cardio at the gym. How can I determine how much I should increase my daily calories by?

How about a non-stick pan or a 1 or 2 second spray of cooking spray? 1200 can be tough not because it's not enough food but because you really have to make smart choices and avoid empty calories.

I never noticed any sugar cravings as a result of drinking diet soda but as of a few weeks ago I have completely cut it out due to worries about its ingredients.

Maybe of you up the calories to 1300 it won't be as hard to stick to? And you're working out as well so that will definitely help. I'm with you! Not TTC yet but I am hoping to lose about 50 lbs before becoming pregnant. It's stressful and easy to get overwhelmed by the amount because I want to lose it as quickly as possible. Trying to stay positive!
