  • Artichoke!!! I love a steamed artichoke, they're so much fun and an experience to eat, and mostly just green fiber so super low calorie depending on the dip you use (go for homemade lemon juice, pepper, and a little tahini).

  • Any vegan preggos/moms or vegan crossfitters around? I have become a terrible walking meme and could really use some common ground.
  • Hi, I'm Noel. I've been on and off the vegan wagon for a solid decade. The animals, the environment, the food, and the health benefits are always spot on. The social aspects have always been my downfall. I recently developed gout and switching to a vegan diet fixes the gout without medication (all high purine foods are…
  • Not losing any, attempting to gain, but eating SUPER healthy and tracking to be able to discuss with the nutrition counselor and hit protein.
  • Those of us due in winter should be around the half way mark or possibly past it already. Anyone find out the sex? How are those anatomy scans coming?
  • Actor or artist of some kind.

  • Nope. Vegans and vegetarians lose fat too.

  • Congratulations @sardelsa! That's great to hear! Good luck with recovery and managing 3!
  • @KellyBgetsfit You're going to have a baby in your arms so soon!!! Luck with the induction- hope all goes smoothly! My starting weight is about the same and last time I gained 25lbs exactly. The main difference is the worry- I feel like anxiety attacked me out of left field and I don't know how to shut it off.
  • I'm currently pregnant! 16 weeks this week. I was just getting back into crossfit when I got pregnant and I've been motivated by my gym mainly. I love being there, love the people, love the challenges- my midwife said there's no need to cut back unless I'm uncomfortable so I've just been modifying here and there and…

  • Thanks you guys I really appreciate the support! I am working on worrying less and being zen- I am not an underweight woman, baby is going to be fine, weight will come, and I need to just relax and indulge a craving when it pops up. I'm following some intuitive eating accounts on Instagram and trying to internalize their…

  • I've only been a normal weight pregnant person, but I eat them back based on hunger. When I crossfit I'll usually be more hungry and eat them back. When I walk I think Fitbit overestimates because I don't feel very hungry so I tend to ignore those.
  • I'm not currently trying to lose weight, but I have ulcerative colitis and have to watch my intake especially if I'm having a flare up or feel one coming on. Right now I'm pregnant and my UC tends to clear up and stay dormant during pregnancy, but I'm sure afterwards I'll be back to using my nutrition to try to keep my UC…
  • I'm also pregnant and it's a time to focus on the quality of food we're eating more than the quantity. We should be trying to meet pretty high protein goals- I was recommended 120g daily for a singleton pregnancy. If you're unsure, ask your doctor or a prenatal nutritionist. I'd focus more on getting in your fruit,…

  • When I was 21/22 just after college. My drinking and smoking were off the charts and I slept with everything that moved because I was desperately in love with a meth addict who couldn't have cared less about me. I remember hysterically drunk driving to pick him up at a bar where he'd mixed his pills and was oscillating…
  • CROCK POT!!! Dump in crockpot, come home 8 hours later to hot dinner! Whole30 Chili- 1.5lbs ground beef, 1 large sweet potato, 1 can diced tomatoes, 1 large chopped onion, 2 cloves garlic, any random carrots or mushrooms I have lying around, 3tbsp chili powder, a pinch of salt, plenty ground pepper, a pinch of cumin, a…
  • @hesn92 Congratulations!!! I've been waiting for your update! Take care of yourself- early recovery with a newborn is the hardest. Oh congrats again!!!
  • As a pregnant person, I loathe these stinky microwave meals. I can smell it when anyone on the floor heats one up and I call them "fake chemical salt meals". They smell like no food I've ever smelled. I now consider them edible food-like substances because they smell so off I can't even really describe it.
  • I just wanted to say don't make the mistake we did and completely cheap out. We bought an aftermarket $150 treadmill from Sears that only does walk/jog. The stride is SO SHORT and the treadmill itself is super narrow- my husband can barely use it. I only use it for walking to top up my Fitbit steps because jogging on it…
  • @karen_thinmint That seems a bit ridiculous since your overall gain is perfectly healthy! The idea that gain should be linear is nonsense anyway- it's totally normal for it to happen in bursts and spurts. 30-years-old 2nd pregnancy Height 5'6" SW: 150lbs Goal: 25lbs Week 4: 150 Week 5: 150 Week 6: 150 Week 7: 151 (+1) Week…
  • I'm currently pregnant with #2 and mainly need accountability keeping my macros and food intake in order and not just eating sugar and carbs all the time or refusing to eat because I don't feel well. Anyone pregnant and want a daily check-in buddy? Always looking for new mom friends and I'm a regular logger/ status…
  • Hi ladies!! I'm 12 weeks and tracking for accountability and to try to make sure I'm somewhere within a range of healthy since there's another person depending on my choices right now. I crossfit 2-3 times weekly (although scaled back for sure). Feel free to add me if anyone wants to be pregnancy buds! Honestly the mom…
