I did a 2 hour session, but I felt I had been walking for 5 hours! It's not easy, there is a technique to it and it does take practice, but you can get a decent speed going. If you don't have the right posture/technique you won't get the full benefit from it. Apparently you can burn up to 60% more calories with the piles…

Me too! But he's might fine eye candy

Nope! I'm not a coffee snob, prefer filter or even instant coffee to the stuff that machine stuff. With some milk to cool it down x

Maybe you should stop 'dieting' and change your habits? Input your details and use the calorie goal MFP gives you as a basis for calorie intake. Weigh and measure everything to ensure you really are eating as well as you think. Using the treadmill isn't anywhere as effective as walking outside. If you can, Try walking…

I have Facebook but rarely post to it. It has enabled me to meet old school and work friends (different countries) that I would never have been able to find, and we now meet in person. Groups can be really informative, it's up to you what you choose to use the app for. I use what's app as free texts and calls between my…

Never heard of the program - I'd do it, but I'd have to be really well paid. And I won't be winning any awards for the 'hottest' body.

I don't run, but I am a hillwalker/hiker. I carry a camelpak because I prefer to sip little and often rather than big gulps. I find the sips help keep my mouth hydrated so I don't feel the need to actually 'drink' too much.

I can only say that everyone here is amazing!!! I eat rings around myself, chocolate and junk food are top of the list followed by fattening food. Healthy eating goes out the window. I can barely move as I'm in so much pain for at least 2 days so exercise, even walking is completely out of the question, and don't get me…

Well done, great job x

My husband is off drink for health reasons and he went away for a stags weekend (about 20 lads) and drank non alcohol beer all weekend. no one realised he wasn't drinking. Driving is also a good excuse to not drink.

Congratulations! Have you seen Lindy Bop clothing? Very flattering to the fuller figure, and if you have a good set of boobs the Ophelia is a good way to show them off, but they also have other styles.

Try and compromise, eating at home more often. Maybe do some sums and tell him you can reach goals quicker if you eat at home (e.g. Upgrade cars) and when you do go out choose lighter options like grilled meat/fish and veg/salad.

You must be new here ... I'm originally from Birmingham, now living in Co Meath

No advice, but my muscles feel the same, so I try not to sit down for long periods of time, hard if you have a desk job, but take a break every hour, even a 5 min stroll should help.

Somewhere in Co Offaly ...

I don't need that for a reason, but who would do the washing up if I did, he has to be good for something ...

The boss may well be pointing out work related issues, which they have every right to, but it doesn't seem like it's being done in a professional manner, especially when the op is feeling bullied. Lack of management and personnel skills show the boss isn't capable of doing her own job properly, and no one should be…

I really feel for you and know exactly what you're going through. I agree with Speziface, log everything and after a couple of months go to HR. Also, make sure any communications are done/repeated in email so there is no 'he said/she said' situations and clarify everything by email so there are no 'misunderstandings'.

We got one for my daughter last Xmas - worked great till the hubby put it into the dishwasher and it ruined it

If you're really that uncomfortable being in the room If a stripper turns up then pretend you've just got a call from your hubby and step outside and give him a call. Don't be stressing about being away from your little one, as long as they have someone to look after them then they'll be fine, and it will do you good to…

I use whatever's handy but these are my favourites and I think they show the different levels of my personality
-
Who's organising it? Not everyone gets a stripper. - I think the important person here is the bride, if she wants one then fair enough, you will have to put up with it, but if she doesn't then maybe you should make that point to whoever is organising that the bride won't like it.

Fill up on salad or low cal veg and have celery/peppers and tomatoes to snack on. Celery is especially good as it's so low calorie you can pretty much eat as much as you want. Also try a Low cal soup, a mug or bowl before each meal will help fill you up.

I'm not very good but have tried my hand at candle making and lotions and potions. I can do a basic form of calligraphy, I did a bit of card and box making and I often make up hampers as Xmas presents. I can bake ok, but my decorating isn't great. I will try various things, but still waiting to find something I'm good at.…

Sometimes I don't want to 'meal plan' but I make sure to have basics in do I can grab something quick when it's late/I'm tired/don't want to cook. Potato farls can be heated straight from the freezer, usually eaten with poached eggs and smoked salmon or ham, with spinach or a salad. Omelettes are another 'go to'. Cereal or…

Coleslaw can be calorific depending on the mayo used, the rest seems ok, but it depends what oil/sauces were used.

Try reading 'The Art of Running Faster' by Julian Goater and Don Melvin. You may find some of it helpful. Hope that helps x
