All of you are amazing people, and I am happy that my story brought some of us together in support <3

@apmartin29 hey girl, we can do this together. The first step is being here.

Awesome, I never even heard of those!

Hey guys, I definitely understand that it’s hard and a huge goal, but I was just using that as a reference of a timeline comparing it to 120lbs total. If it happens in a year, that’s awesome, but it’s just much more manageable to understand for me that a year is a little bit of time and it’s not a 20 year process if I make…

My petty reason for losing weight is because when my boyfriend proposes to me, I don’t want to be worried that the ring won’t fit. I want to be able to wear it proudly on my left, ring finger from day one!

@kommodevaran I would have to agree with your statement... my ultimate goal is to lose 120lbs. Thinking of it that way, it seems like so much and that it will never happen, however, if I say that I have to lose ten pounds each month for 12 months, I will be at the same point. It's nice to have a breakdown like that.

I know that I have found these discussion boards to be extremely useful. Good luck on everything, and if you need any support, please don't hesitate to…

I would definitely talk to your doctor either way, but it takes up to 3 months for birth control to completely regulate emotions and have your body get used to it. It doesn't take 3 months to protect you (normally 1 month!) but a good 3 months to see the full side effects of the medication. 2 weeks isn't a very good…

No matter what your body size or exercise level is, you should be getting AT LEAST 1000-1200 calories to help maintain all the processes happening in your body. I would try to incorporate some more protein since you are working out. Almonds, peanut butter, etc. Their higher in calories, but offer good protein and that…

I've been off and on for the past few months. I was doing really good August 2014 - February 2015, but then a broken heart set in and I gained back 20 of the 30 pounds I lost. I have a new set of motivation and have been doing good for the past two weeks! It's Summer 2015, I'm sure that we can do this! (:

I just started C25K two weeks ago and I can already tell a difference in my running endurance. This is coming from someone who never ever ran before
