  • Meatless chili with corn, kidney and garbanzo beans. If you take it out of the refrigerator in the morning it should still be good until lunch time. Takes about 10 minutes to make. Canned soups travel well.
  • Geocaching - You use a GPS to find hidden containers. It can bring you places to hike you might not have gone to otherwise. Hunting and fishing - Also a good chance to explore different and beautiful places. In addition success can mean a source of lean protein.
  • The last two I read were "How to fight presidents: Defeating the bada**es who ran this country." by Daniel O'Brian and "How I got this way by Patrick McManus. The first assumes you are a time traveler who offended all the ex-presidents and provides interesting facts to help you win a fight. The second is a collection of…
  • Should be OK if you stay within your daily calorie goal. What is it you are craving? Maybe it can be used as an ingredient in something interesting.
  • I saw you looked at the menu and there was no nutritional information. You could try calling the restaurant and either get recommendations or if they gave you the proportions of the dish you could plug them into the diary and figure it out yourself.
  • I find a lot of good recipes on allrecipies.com

  • If you do a search online you should be able to get a list of nutritional information for their whole menu. Then you can go through and pick the items that best meet your goals and taste.
  • If you are sweating then you are losing water weight. You should always be able to regain water weight quickly by drinking water. Not gaining that weight back is a sign you are not rehydrating properly. I wrestled in high school and they made us weigh in before and after practice to monitor our water loss. It was possible…
  • I use water to cook my meat a lot. Just a little in the bottom of the pan. The food cooks and will not burn. If you start to run out of water just add a little more at the sink. It's a lot cheaper than oil too.
  • It won't help you with indoor steps, but the MAPMYFITNESS app uses your phone's GPS to track your speed and distance traveled to calculate your calorie burn. The app is free and is put out by under armor like MYFITNESSPAL is so it will automatically log your workout into your daily diary.
  • A salad can be easy to make at home and leave in the refrigerator at work. I've also been having lettuce wraps lately, when instead of bread, you wrap your sandwich filling with lettuce.
  • Use the diary to record what you are eating. When you feel like snacking @ night enter that food and proportion before you eat it. Seeing to calorie value may help you find the incentive to not eat it. The exercise doesn't have to be anything crazy. Just a walk can be helpful. A lot if people here use fitbits for tracking.…

  • Confidence is a matter of perception and attitude rather than a state of being based on your weight. If you want to feel more confident try to change your state of mind by acting confident until you are actually confident. Make an effort to look people in the eye when speaking and use a tone of voice that suggests…
  • If you have a cooler you could try a salad in Tupperware.
  • It depends on your fitness goals. If you are looking for mostly cardio maybe you would enjoy a walk, run, or hike instead. That way you could explore new areas near you and the change of scenery could keep you interested. You might also want to try to find someone near you who also wants to go to the gym. This would add a…
  • I enjoyed the hulk buster fight.
  • Avengers 2. My son loved it.
  • I drank some water instead.

  • I found making sure I fill out the diary helps. I can see my goal for the day and it helps keep me on track. If you do have a bad day start fresh the next day and try not to dwell on it. Also getting out of the house helps. I find it I am away from the kitchen it helps remove temptation. You could also try messaging a…
  • Have you tried turning your phone sideways to change to the wide display.
  • Unbuttered popcorn is an option.
  • I've been using the MAPMYFITNESS app made by the same people as MFP and has been working pretty well for me. It usually calls my pace a "leisurely walk", which it is.
  • If you are with someone for a long time they will eventually see you doing something silly. The good news is that works in reverse to.
  • Unbuttered popcorn, fresh fruit, cottage cheese, almonds

  • You can edit the recipe by opening it and then tapping the icon that looks like a pencil. Also if you import a recipe check it against the original. I imported a recipe the other day that called for 3 tips of brown sugar and had to edit it because the program changed it to 3 cups of brown sugar! It made several thousand…
  • Looking forward to that. I'm playing through FFX with my 7 year old. He's really enjoying it so far.
