Pictures taken while hiking
I tried to start this thread in the fitness section, but didn't go anywhere. Maybe it will have more results here. It's like the title says post some of your favorite pictures taken while hiking.

Catskills
I was looking in the groups and saw lots of groups for different states but couldn't find one for New York. I created this group so there would be a local group for the catskills. I am a paramedic living in Roscoe. I'm looking to lose about a 100 lbs and enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities. If you feel like joining…

Almost 70 degrees in Upstate NY in February
Great day of hiking on Friday. Didn't see much wildlife but it was great to get out. Breeze felt like a blanket of warm air with the scent of fresh pine.

Hiking
I got out hiking twice this weekend. I actually remembered to restart the tracking app after every break, so I didn't lose half the hike. Also remembered to turn it off when I got to the car, so I didn't add several miles of 70 MPH hiking.

Exercise at work during long shifts
It can be hard to exercise when you get home after work and you are tired. I started using MAPMYFITNESS and walking around the station. I mile around is the same as a mile striaght. The other advantage is I don't get too sweaty walking and I am close to the station if we get a call.

Fitbit tip
Most if you probably already figured this out, but if your battery needs to be charged you can plug the charger into the USB port on your game system.

Popcorn spices
I have been bringing unbuttered popcorn with me to work for a snack. I started out adding cajun seasoning which was pretty good. This weekend I used allspice which was just OK. Any suggestions for other spices to try?

Catskill Fire Towers
The fire towers offer great views of the catskill range. Morgan Outdoors in Livingston Manor is running a contest for people to visit all 5 by October. This is a great incentive to hike up to all five towers. Here is a link to their page: http://morgan-outdoors.com/?p=795 Here are some pictures of my hike up to Red Hill…

Weird Syncs
So I went fishing today but after mapmyfitness synced with myfitness pal it turned into "Gymnastics, General". :p I've had stationary bike turn into elliptical as well. What are some weird changes it made for you?

Going to the movies
What do you get to snack on when you go to the movies? I was looking at the calorie counts for buttered AMC popcorn but the numbers are ugly. Unbuttered is an option but I was wondering if there was anything more interesting.
