Interesting video on peoples' behavior when eating "healthy" food.

Nope, I read labels and avoid anything targeted as a fitness thing or to fitness buffs.

I sometimes eat breakfast cereals and boxed granola bars, but I know what is in there and am not kidding myself about anything.

Yeah, maybe to the general public, but to the people on here? I don't think this applies.

My thoughts exactly! Most people here are reading labels (calories, macros, micros, serving size) and (hopefully) weighing all solids. Little room for any significant surprises.

I don't apply labels to food, but read nutrition panels of any food with one to decide whether or not it's "worth" spending calories on..

I also eat to exercise, not exercise to eat.... That people exercise less when they have "health/fitness" food may be perhaps due to them thinking they need to burn calories off because of food, and somehow equate healthy food with less calories

    Knowledge and willpower cures all.

Take time to let that absorb...

That's a good video for people who aren't already calorific-aware. Thanks, I'm sharing that elsewhere.

Food is food, both "healthy" and "unhealthy" will make you fat if consumed in excess.

I've lost count on how many times I've read on here " I'm eating healthy, why am I gaining weight"?

This video need to be posted on those threads!

This. Luckily, this is why MFP is such a great tool and site. It allows us to dispel the nonsense of marketing.

And this is why i always see newbies or people in my life saying things like "I'm eating healthy! I am not losing!"
