Great day of hiking on Friday. Didn't see much wildlife but it was great to get out. Breeze felt like a blanket of warm air with the scent of fresh pine.

    OK. Jealous out here in the PNW. When it's warm in the NE it's always cold in the NW. Still, the crocuses are in bloom. Spring is just around the corner.

    It's been mostly a good week in Iowa too. There were days in the upper 60's. Then it snowed Fri. Unfortunately, I've been so busy with work, I haven't gotten out much. Finally I had time to run today and my BG has been so uncontrollably high and not really good for exercise. It's just now starting to come down as it gets dark. Still, I might just head to the treadmill shortly.

    I'm sorry to hear that! I'm sitting here at work, there's snow on the ground and more was falling out of the sky this morning. I'm looking forward to another month of skiing on groomed trails. Winter is beautiful.
