If you're looking to just have something to graze on all day, then keep low calorie high volume foods nearby. If you're choosing the high calorie stuff to graze on, then you're going to have a harder time trying to reach your goal weight if you don't increase your activity.

You can have a regular sized meal anytime you want, just know you'll need to keep your intake to a certain calorie limit to continue to maintain your current or future weight. So, if you're expecting to maintain a modern convenience food diet from wherever, as you're chewing and swallowing your bites, consider how much…

Your post has inspired a new recipe. Thank you! Cirque Du Soleil Call Girl Pansexual Scout Cookies.

I hope calories out still counts on NYE. I plan on it being like any other weekday in terms of calories out

When you're not doing step based activity, it's suggested you go to the fitbit dashboard and enter a manual activity for the start and end time of your exercise. Alternatively, you can press and hold the track button on the tracker and wait for it to vibrate, then do your non step based activity, then press and hold the…

I don't mind weighing & logging food & exercise. I do plan on having a week or two sometime in the near future to see how well i can manage my weight without using mfp or my fitbit, and "intuitively eating." if i see too much weight creeping up after the two weeks, I'm logging back into my metrics tools.

I imagine having to clean up after this event would be an active day.

The leftovers will be yours to give away or destroy, though. Maybe start planning out how to get all those things out of the house after the holidays. Or, if you're going to eat it all, then make them all fit into your calorie budget. Freezing things helps keep some things fresh.

The mens photos are inspiring, too. Thanks!

I was worried being unaware of the original adele song, I wouldn't get the video. I was pleasantly surprised. :) Thanks for that

Barbecue pig and roast duck from any Chinatown restaurant that displays their roast pig and duck in their windows.

Try weaning yourself off of the sugar. Water down fruit juices/sodas to get more volume out of them, less sweet same calories. I sometimes water down my sugary almond-milk coffee drinks.

I would try to get the 10,000 steps in as a starting goal. It's the first piece of evidence you gave about slacking off. Maybe the increase in movement was curbing your hunger. If you're getting bored of walking, then try to get the walking done faster (incorporate some small jogging sections) or pick up the c25k app for…

Same with ribs. Weigh the bones and subtract. Unless you're eating the bones, too.

He actually did eat some canned veggies to avoid scurvy, if i recall. OP If you're still a vegetarian but don't like eating vegetables anymore, you're going to have bigger problems.

I'm guessing there's more than diet that drives OPs desire to disconnect from family.

If I had the option to choose between fresh and frozen brussels sprouts, I'd go for the fresh all the time. They're so much tastier when split in half and roasted. I don't think frozen ones would do well if I tried to roast them.

I have mixed feelings about shirataki noodles. Zero/very low calorie is nice but it's definitely not filling for me. I ate a bunch of them over a weekend to see if I could figure out a preparation style I'd like... Even as a type of primavera high in vegetable content and garlic aioli, i was not feeling satiated. Eh. I'd…

A steamed bun filled with roast pork and a slightly sweet sauce. They're called "Bao." I'll probably get one in the next few days

I would just eat when hungry but make sure not to exceed my calorie goal per day.

Do you dislike weighing and logging your food? What does feeling stuck mean? What part are you stuck on? What are you eating now that is different from your "perfect" eating plan?

If there's truth to the idea that 66% of Americans are overweight or obese, and if you're an American, then saying you're Average would mean you're either overweight or obese. If I were you and were trying to set up a dating profile, and needed to fill out body type, I'd say athletic. You're definitely not what is…

YouTube has walking videos. No need to worry about inclement weather

Last year, during Christmas and thanksgiving I was 3-4 months in my weight loss. I ate very conservatively, still wasn't active. This year, for thanksgiving and the remainder of thanksgiving week, I overate and didn't exercise daily (just every other day). I began feeling guilty and started noticing puffiness in my face…

If you are still on the fence, why not just try your way to see how it goes? If it starts feeling unsustainable, then go back to what worked for you to drop from your starting weight to current weight

If you're feeling insecure about your body and won't be in a gym because of it, you can do bodyweight exercises at home. You'll basically need a sturdy table & chairs, a door/doorway. Check out "you are your own gym". It comes as a book or an app for your phone with videos to demonstrate the exercises. I have seen some…

What are you going to eat when you're at 180? Consider finding a way of eating that will last you all the way to 180 and beyond.

I would like to try this. Is there any likelihood this will run on OpenOffice?
