Oh hmm :| maybe you should do this same trip again tomorrow to see if the step count is similar?

Does your model allow for stride calibraton? Maybe you need to adjust your stride settings to fix its accuracy

This thread helped me meet my protein macro for today, and I saved up a bunch of calories for a gluttonous barbecue I'm going to attend this weekend. Thank you!

I've been eating my below my weekly suggested calorie burns and have been steadily losing weight. Some people aren't getting the same results though, so i don't know if the fault lies in faulty CO reporting or my faulty CI logging.

I've been using a fitbit charge hr, and right now i think it's quite accurate. I was reading a thread earlier today which suggested the TDEE that someone was getting from their fitbit was inaccurate because the person was eating to their fitbit calculated TDEE and gaining weight over 4 weeks. My suggestion is to experiment…

I would like to believe it's really 7000 steps. I believe the fitbit can feel impact on your body (when stepping or jogging) and registers that as a step. I also know the HR monitor enabled models makes distinctions between moderately active, lightly active, and very active minutes. Somehow all of this information gets…

Thank you for your reply. Trendweight suggests this ratio has been consistent for the last four weeks. Maybe longer, I'll have to check the desktop browser version when j get a chance to verify this ratio for longer than four weeks. Fat Mass Change Over Time: Since yesterday: +0.1 lbs Since a week ago: -0.2 lbs Since two…

I hope to see more contributors to your great list idea :) i do love salmon though. I'll take the calorie hit for it [/quote]

there's a thread discussing high protein low calorie foods. You may want to look into that and high fiber low cal foods

Well, it's not fat you've gained, unless you ended up eating something upwards of 13300 above maintenance (seems very unlikely from your listed weighing/measuring habits.) I get frustrated with the scale sometimes too, sorry you're going through it
-
ooo I love this list. Here's what I found from google: Tuna (4.46 calories per gram of protein) Tilapia (4.96 calories per gram of protein) When I get home I'm going to cram a bunch of prawns in my mouth to get my protein macro for the day. Hot.

2 inches around your stomach from 3 lbs? I dunno...

LMFAO!!! I live!!!

What if it were low volume high calorie food? A bunch of high calorie shakes, for example?

The obesity class 3+ people can eat upwards of 8000 calories daily. I think if there were a "free calorie intake" zone, they'd have found it first B)

My, how innovative you are! I'd eat this too

I want to try this recipe exactly as posted. Thanks!

So, lets say you participated in an eating contest. Depending on the calorie density of the food, I'd imagine one could consume 10,000+ calories that day. I believe your body would use those calories over time. You would end up eating approx 5 days worth of calories in one sitting. So, you'd have to fast for 5 days to not…

Bacon is wonderful! there's too much sodium in it to eat in one meal like that for me. I'd have to eat really bland for the rest of the week to make up for that hit. Might be worth it some week in the future though hmmm

Would eating half and taking the other half home to eat later that day/another day in the week allow you to fit it in? You wouldn't be wasting it this way

I plan on weighing everything I eat when at home or at work, and doing my best to estimate portions and calorie totals in things I eat when I'm not at home or work. If I'm at a party or a large social function (doesn't happen much; I prefer solitude) then I'll try to remember the last 3 things I ate/drank and take a…

You know what started helping me with my depression? Setting a small goal that was achievable and beneficial. I found all these articles (through google) that suggested taking 5000 steps a day would improve mood and some biological functions. I decided to download a stepcounting app on my phone and seeing how many steps I…

That actually sounds kind of tasty. I'd consider using low fat ricotta instead of cottage cheese.

How are your eating habits, overall? I sometimes catch myself eating too quickly. I end up eating extra portions because I'm not giving my brain enough time to receive the "satisfied" signal. Take smaller bites, chew 10 times or so per bite. A meal should last a minimum of 20 minutes according to various internet sources I…
