awesome that seems to be doing the trick. Leaner meat for one meal a day puts me at 60 grams of protein . Even though it was about 750 calories it felt like a lot n lot of food.

aren't you on ketogenic diet? isn't Fat the primary goal? I find usually if you hit your fat goals protein quota is met most of the times. Also Fat is good for the joints .

I am. Been trying to get back to the gym . But on my off days from work i find myself often resting. I work as a stocker at walmart 4 days a week. Averaging at 10km walked in a day. Been trying to find an effective program that i can do in 30 minutes

I am not artifically limiting it. But i choose high fat sources of meat to get my daily fat quota.

all the good stuff that makes fatty meat taste good is high in carbs .... ketchup, humus,creamy ceaser .... couple of spoons and boom 20 grams of carbs in one meal... How do you guys manage to stay low carb and still manage to eat some tasty food....

when you are habitual snacker ... the little low carb snacks like nuts , seeds add up... to a lot of calories ... if you are snacking on cheese .. its much easier to stick to calorie goals. yes i do count both... because at the end of the week It helps me understand where i am at... in terms of net deficit for the week.…

Well , Since i started low carb high fat... my lifts took a real hit ... about 40- lbs less on my working sets... and i still am not able to consistently hit my previous lifts.. eating a bit more of carbs before the gym , as I've personally experienced made me much more productive with my lifts in the gym. ideally around…

lasted about a week for me to after cutting out all artificial sweeteners , but eating fat did the trick .... occasionally i have an urge to eat something sweet / carby only when some one really brings it close to my nose.../face just to annoy me....

I gave up all sugars and artificial sweeteners and upped my fats. Zero Cravings for anything sweet.

Seems like this is a prevalent phenomenon in low carb diets. i tend to feel less hungry on active days and a lot more hungry on non active days... which did not make sense to me.

are you watching added sugars in your diet? it all adds up... ive eliminated most sugars from my diet since i started LCHF.

walking 10 minutes to the gym will be decent cardio. Like the best advice above , i concur that compound exercises with free weights are the best for overall fitness. Limit your strength training to 30 minutes go hard with little rest, the goal is not endurance or tiring yourself out but to work your muscles a bit.

Struggle to do even 1. for me a pull up is a wide grip pull up from dead hang , no kicking / cheating stuff ... and the chin has to go above the bar.

Make sure you are maintaining sufficient daily protein intake as per your body weight / lean body mass. Doing weights on a calorie deficit while maintaining adequate protein intake is the best way to preserve a majority of your muscle mass.
