I'd changed my ultimate goal weight as I reached it and still did not look the way that I wanted to look.. So here is to hoping that I'm happy once these last eight pounds are gone. Lol
-
Eight pounds until goal weight... I've put on a few pounds of water weight since I've started increasing my weight training. Here is to hoping that with me being a newbie, I can still make significant gains in a deficit. After a month in, I can already see a difference in my legs...

Nice job! You look great!

Nice!!! I think I may try this workout to see where I place time wise! I consider myself in decent shape; I can work a cardio class like no one's business ...but running and then doing that amount of calisthenics in any thing less than eight mins, I just couldn't fathom! You are in beast mode for sure!

Nice waistline Bellaa! Keep up the great work!
-
Nice!! That's where I'd Love to be! Dam$ the bit of arm fat although I do understand we all have our things! Okay?! Yes, my muscles are def being revealed/forming but alas.. Sigh.. I would Love to stay this weight and keep a little shape but I'm going to keep dropping until it's gone.. Hopefully no more then ten more…

Thanks for all of the responses guys! Alas, I know that it will take time (boooo) ... I was just curious about other people's actual arm measurements and if they had resistant areas that are just kicking and screaming as well. lol

Coworkers and family saying that I've finished the weight loss aspect of my journey - I haven't. Lol I Am focusing more on weights however and not So much cardio. Even when I'm ahead of the game calorie wise, it's hard for me to Really go in and pig out the way that I use to do... I start in March as a part time fitness…

Hey! I don't mind sharing at all.. I have been a Cardio Queen for about seven months and eating in a deficit, thus losing a little over 35 pounds... During that time, one of my classes, a boot camp class, consisted of constant burpees, lunges, squats and planks... While my Zumba and kickboxing classes kept us in a squat…

At my highest after having my 18 month old, I was a 37... Now I'm a 28 1/2 today while bloated, so I will REALLY know next week!! :) Very excited to be at this size for sure.. Just waiting on the arms to drop another inch. :)
-
Great job! Keep it up! Your face is def slimmer. :)
-
Good job! Keep it up!

I'm alwayssss activating my glutes nowadays. Lol Even though I have four children, my stomach and waistline are pretty decent as a result of losing the weight and consistent calisthenics.
-
Well the good news is that even if you don't find one here, you Will find one actually at the gym if you go regularly. You will begin to consistently see the same folks in your classes or in the weight room (as they have your schedule) and start to speak with some of them. :)
-
Isn't THAT the truth!!! Hopefully the weight training will get me to where "I" want to be. :)
-
It all depends on your height, weight and activity level. If you accurately entered that information then you should be fine with what MFP listed for you. Most folks say to only eat back half of your exercise calories just to make sure that you aren't overestimating. :) Good luck!

LOLLL..WHY is that me now though!! I guess because I go to an all women's studio (outside of the Y) and we wear little things to class..tiny tanks and shorts, I am more aware of any bloat and it being readily seen. It is like the closer I get to my goal and with other areas being small/smaller..a pudgy looking waistline…

5'8 female WAS 193 six months ago... Now 157 Goal 150 I would love to go a bit lower to get the rest of this fat off my arms and back while weight training, but I lose a lot of my shape the lower that I go.. Honestly once I got under 170ish, I was at an Everything Must Go sale... I started to lean out and become more…

Great job!!
-
Yep! Def a difference and in such a short amount of time!

Congrats! I too reached a healthy BMI recently and have since loss five more pounds..about ten more to go before this phase is finally over and on to more consistent Heavy weight lifting. I dream of not having cardio and weight loss forever on the brain. Lol PS: I know that I should be lifting heavy consistently now. :)

160+ days in and 34 pounds down..I wasn't quite serious the first month either... Although I knew it worked as I'd used it before having my baby and lost over 25 pounds... Five more pounds till goal this time. Basically, everyone has to commit and do the work that it takes to make their weight loss/fitness journey…

I'm on the smallest notch for my large Fitbit..this is good as my wrists are getting tiny but Not good in that I may have to buy another Fitbit size small, if this one begins to twist and not stay in place for an accurate reading!! My husband is taking nutrition more seriously since he has seen me cutting back and cutting…
-
Fantastic!! Which weight lifting program do you follow? :)
-
Well I have lost 6 pounds and a couple inches since last I posted on here 3 weeks ago (most of it was water weight due to TOM), ...I am now 159 pds (5'8) 33.5-29-36.75...pants have officially dropped to an 8 but shirts are holding fast at a medium/some larges due to my chubby arms..Most people think that I weigh MUCHHHH…
