As long as you factor it into your daily calories you will not gain weight. That being said, it's definitely not the most nutrient dense source of calories, but to each his own.

Make a side of rice, pasta, bread, or potatoes etc with meals for ypur husband and kids if they can't make their own

I'm 115 pounds and maintain on around 2000 calories with no exercise. You should lose on 1900 especially if you are exercising.

The weight is the same. The calorie difference is from one brand including calories from fiber carbs and one not. So i guess my question is do fiber carbs need to be counted or not?
