  • I ignored the photos and the scale, because everyone in my life was telling me I looked beautiful no matter what, as the pounds packed on. My moment was when an MRI showed my liver was enlarged due to fatty deposits. I knew I had to do something, my life depends on it. I'm down 12 lbs so far.
  • I'm 5'10, and I was 234 when I started. I'm 222 now after 20 days, and my goal weight, where I feel the healthiest, is around 150, at a size ten. I went down to a size 5 once in my life, but with my wide hips and shoulder, I looked emaciated. 10 is a good size for me. To everyone starting from a higher weight, go you!…
  • I'd love some new friends for inspiration! I started at 234, and as of last Monday I lost 7 pounds. I only weigh once a week, so I hope tomorrow will be even more! My GW is 150. MFP is a great way to track calories and exercise, and I'd love some friends to share this adventure.
  • You can, but I try not to. More burned and not eaten, the more weight loss. Maybe when I reach my goal weight I will do this, but now, unless I'm super hungry one day, I bank those calories as fat burners.
