That should give you a rough idea as to what you want to see and what percentage of fat you should aim for. Although the 10-12% in my opinion isn't healthy. But if that's how you would want to look then go for it :)

Sorry I did get the numbers wrong (baby brain) it is 10-12% in women and my body fat is 22% haha let me see if I can find a useful link

Some scales can show body fat %, you can also buy body fat monitors, or you can get a special instrument to measure (can't think what it's called) but you can work it out manually. eBay sell them I believe x

I have painful periods, I usually just do what I can manage tbh, even if I have a week break, sometimes I find the break has done me good and keeps me motivated

You need to get your body fat to a certain percentage to be able to see abs. I can almost see mine but my body fat is only approx 12%, I think in a woman to see and you need it around the 6-8% mark which is pretty dangerous, but this is what a lot of the bodybuilders do :)

Thanks will give the bean recipe a go! I need to avoid soy as it causes problems for my little one aswell. It's so difficult when you can't drink milk! Luckily they grow out of the allergy around a year old so not much longer!

I'm from the UK so don't have a Costco here. Thanks I do eat meat but there's only so much meat I can eat, would prefer plant based proteins. I know beans are an option but was hoping for some quick recipes perhaps. Thanks for the help

Thanks! Having to go dairy free has been hard anyway so will see what struggles I come across when I start training. No pain no gain lol
