THIS-I would have serious concerns about any doctor that would prescribe drugs for what is a relatively small amount of weight gain (not trying to negate what it means to you OP).

I really like this show and it hit home a lot for me - I am definitely a secret eater! There was one episode where a girl had put on 8 stone in 2 years and couldn't figure out why - had to think that there is some self denial. you can definitely find it on Youtube

I normally have a lot of water retention in hot weather UK based too! Lots of water helps.

I wear a Fitbit and try to hit a minimum of 10k steps a day-normally average between 11-15k. I have lost 29 pounds since January but, as with posters above, it's the deficit that counts-the steps allow me to eat a bit more and I also find walking has helping me reduce stress (a lot) so I don't emotionally eat like I used to

^ my daughter and I got Fitbits for Christmas and now spend most of the evening doing sly walks up and down the stairs and in and out of the kitchen everytime one of us goes ahead of the other - husband and son think we've lost the plot
