I honestly ignore the sodium intake, unless you have a specific issue I wouldn't worry about it.

At your weight that sounds very low.. What I suggest is figuring out what your TDEE is (can take some time). Total calorie burn including exercise and everything. Keep your calorie deficit at about 20%.
-
I know it's amazing to do it with your spouse.. Has to be super hard not just on your own, but if they make fun of you.
-
What are you messing up again on?
-
I was going to suggest that you weigh everything you eat.. it seems you have done that and found you ate more than you thought. It's so very easy to do and things like condiments can add a ton of calories without weighing. Great job on your change, looking forward to hearing how you are doing.

I eat bread and lose but tortillas would be an option.. You can get cauliflower type tortillas, we have ordered some and they are pretty good for tacos, pizzas, sandwiches.

LOL I just let it go.. My wife likes to look at me so I go with that

^^^^^ This a million times.

The flour I use has the calories listed on the bag

Celery is my nemesis.

Weigh absolutely everything you eat! see where that puts you.

The first thing I do is know where my calories need to be based on my total burn or TDEE. Then I set my macro nutrients based on where I want to be, today I'm about 40 protein, 40 carbs, 20 fat. I make sure I get my protein and limit my fat and fill in the rest with carbs. I don't count sugar, salt, etc. at all.

Please get a food scale and do not use measuring cups.. You will never get your intake down without a scale.
-
It makes absolutely no difference when you eat. Your body processes 24 hours a day. Eat when it best fits your calorie goals.

It's very normal to have these fluctuations every day. Here is what I do that works very well. Weigh like you do every day and track it. Then do a 7 day running average with those numbers, it will smooth out the fluctuations and give you a trend you can see if you are trending up or down.
-
That is cool, but I want my macros.

I don't think you can manage your surplus/deficit on a daily basis. If you are in an overall deficit over a week or month's time that's what your body is working with. I agree if you are cutting, just keep your protein levels very high and lift heavy. When you are ready bring your diet up and build.

Ozeri Touch II we have used for over a year and it has been great. I agree the batteries are a bit of a pain.

Yes lift weights! The best way to reshape your body is to lift weights. Your body fat doesn't transform into muscle. The fat cells shrink in size and your muscle fibers will grow. Very difficult to build muscle while you are cutting, but yes lift and lift heavy.

Makes good ice for your cocktails too without watering them down.. At least that is what I have heard. ;)
-
You want to stay in a total deficit of calories.. I stay at around 20% so you need to know about what you burn in your workouts. It takes some time to figure out exactly what you burn. Most watchs/programs tend to over estimate the calorie burn.

The wife and I cuss all the time.

@bhff don't sweat it I'm pushing 50.

Leg day today!!
-
Yes if overall you are still under on calories. However it's maybe not as healthy as you'd like.
-
Just to add one more, calories always matter!
-
Yes stay in calories and you will lose weight, that's all the point system is trying to do.
-
Sounds like you are doing amazing.. I'd just keep doing what you are!
-
Are you in some imminent danger with your weight? Losing weight fast is not really the best way to go either, maybe we are missing some story.

I would sure like to see you post some of these scientific studies to back of your statement.
