Stomach is the last thing to go typically, for some the thighs. Just keep plugging away. Use a tape measure, pictures, and calipers if you can.

BMI is a worthless figure unless you are talking about large swaths of the population. It does not account for any amount of muscle mass and very fit people are overweight and obese by it's standards.

I do not believe there is any such thing as naturally thing. People eat within their caloric limits or they don't. It's very simple.

You always want to take into account your total calorie burn into account to know where you are, so yes exercise calories matter. The thing to understand is exercise calories usually account for very little overall. Unless you are sprinting for an hour you probably burn anywhere from 200-400 calories over an exercise…

i just use a little of the basic spray oil to get as little in the pan as I can when I fry. I also fry egg whites a lot.

If you are gaining weight you are eating more than you burn. It's possible medication affects your metabolism but you would need to see a dr. or pharmacist for that. The answer is very simple.. gain weight you are eating more than burn and lose weight you eat less than you burn.

The only thing I like to do is eat some carbs before workout for an energy boost, but from a diet or fat loss it makes no difference when you eat.

In a word, NO

This is the big issue with people "eating healthy". You have to weigh and measure all your food no matter what it is. It doesn't matter if it's great veggies or snickers. If you don't know how much you are eating you probably eat to much. The secret isn't that you change everything you eat or don't eat certain foods. Find…

fat loss and body recomp is a long process and won't be over in a short run no matter what you do. I always find areas I don't like even when I get something looking better. It's just a journey to look and feel better a little at a time.

In my opinion they are all fads short of getting yourself in a calorie deficit.
-
I love food and eat all kinds of things, but still count my macros/calories. I am not sure why one is related to the other. Just my two cents.. My answer is no, I love food and count.
-
I certainly don't blame you for wanting carbs.. The only thing you need to do to lose weight is eat less than you burn. Get a scale, weigh all your food and log it. Get/Keep your body in a modest deficit and you will lose weight.

Welcome to the group and good luck with your weight loss. I saw your original post and one follow up where you said you eat 800-1100 calories a day. My first thought when I read your post is you don't have to give up certain types of foods to lose weight and I think that is the way most people fall off wagon. The real and…

Getting lots of right answers.. You simply can not make your body burn fat in any specific area. You just have to lose weight, drop fat and your body will drop it in the order it does, every body is different.

yeah I don't know how to tackle the pregnant hunger thing. What I do is save most of my calories for the evening because that is my snacking time. It allows me to snack and give in to some of my impulses and stay in my calorie/macro counts.

It's part of losing weight for a woman. Go for being fit and if it bothers you that much get a lift/ boob job. My two cents.
-
I only count total carbs on everything.
-
Whatever motivates you, use it to keep on track! You can do this.

So long as you count your macros or calories and fit it in, it's great. I use 96/4 ground beef a lot and it's awesome. I prefer beef for the better iron, etc. I personally wouldn't add any olive oil as you are just putting fat back in, but that's jus tme.

Second it, enjoy the week and get back on track next week.. You will be fine!
-
Bottom line, unless you weigh and log everything you will never know how much you are putting in your body. If that's important log, if not don't.
-
Just sounds like heartburn.
-
I save my calories so ok can have some of this just because I know I will snack.
-
There isn't any calories in sodium and unless you have hypertension and/or blood pressure issues I wouldn't worry about it. I never measure my sodium.
-
I can see that.
-
There is nothing you can do to make fat in a specific area go before others. You can only keep your body in a calorie deficit and let the fat burn off as your body will do it.
-
I scatter my food out through the day and save most of my calories for the evening when i'm likely to want to snack more. I still typically have a breakfast, lunch, and dinner with snacks in between them.

I agree you can do things by having certain percentages, but in regards to weight loss it really makes no difference. I maintain a much higher protein percentage as well.
