Me too - lost 20 lbs, and have gained it all back in a year. I’ll add you. I need some like-minded people!

You are all amazing - thank you for some great advice and perspective! Please feel free to add me - sometimes I can’t add new friends.

Thanks everyone - solid advice. And exactly what I’ve told other people when they’ve asked me how I kept the weight off, when they fell off the wagon. I’d just say “just get back on, leave the past behind.” Now it’s my turn to follow my own advice!

I’m starting again too - I reached my goal on my 50th birthday after working hard for three years and losing the weight slowly. And after 8 months, I have gained it all back. Life happens - just need to start again. Please feel free to add me. It’s nice to have fellow MFPrs who are able to relate.

Congratulations and thank you for the motivation and inspiration to keep going! Good things happen to those that are willing to put the work in to it and you're certainly proof of that!

Hi Jennifer, I'm 5'2" and have about 10 to 15 more pounds I'd like to lose. I like to set small, achievable goals in the short-term. I find it makes it easier to get there and can help keep me motivated. Please feel free to add me!

Feel free to add me - I'm 48 and have about 10 to 15 to lose. I had lost 10 lbs about six months ago (using MFP) and then decided I could take a break from measuring and logging with some effort. Now I'm starting again. Lesson learned

The hardest part is just getting off the couch and getting started some days. So make that your goal - get up, and walk or start your workout DVD, go to the gym - whatever it is. Even if you last for five minutes - it's a start! And all you need is to start. Good luck!

I'm currently doing the c25k program. I'm on week 4. Give it a shot - it moves along at a reasonable pace - enough to be challenging but not so challenging that it's overwhelming. Good luck!

I am in the exact same place. I was doing really well for awhile - about 3 months and for the last two months, I've been rapidly returning to my old habits. I've gained back four pounds. For me, I'm just bored with the routine and having to plan out foods, make lunches, log everything. It gets tedious. However, I'm slowly…

What a great story. Congratulations on your success. And thanks for a great idea to carry the weight you've lost - just to keep in check all you've accomplished! I know that wasn't your plan, but I expect it would be very motivating for us MFP folks to remember where we were and why we keep on our journey. Thank you!
