But meat is so delicious!

I try to save 300-400 calories a day to late night snacking, if you have the calories left it's not going to do any harm to your body. Your body never stop digesting. You could portion off some of your dinner and eat it closer to bedtime, assuming it doesn't affect your sleeping habits. Some people keep high protein/high…

Whispering and snickering about someone behind their back because of their body type, and going onto MFP to brag about how repulsive someones body is not very polite. I have 150 lbs to lose, am I going to have saggy skin and a self-conscious issue with it? Hell yeah. Do I need people to tell me how disgusting I might look?…

Have you looked into fitbits or other step-counting devices?

That poor guy. Maybe it was bad luck in the genetic pool? Either way, making fun of someone because of their body is not cool.

I still have well over 100 lbs to lose, I started at 311 lbs. Let me know if you're still looking for friends. :) That goes for anyone in this thread as well, the more friends the merrier!

Asthma as a child, PCOS after puberty, ate away my sadness, ate away my self-conscious issues, ate a bit more. I didn't exercise nearly as much as I should've, preferring to hide away behind my computer for most of my teenage years.

Ads are based upon your search history and unfortunately websites need money to host servers/stay updated. If it bothers you too much you should get an Adblock for your internet browser. It's bringing up pizza because you've searched for food a few times, so they're taking it on that. I frequently get credit cards,…

Suggest a trip the two of you can go on to a farm market or grocery store with fresh produce, take some home, and cook together. It honestly just sounds like parental nurturing and he's not sure how to go about it. Maybe he'll take interest in eating healthier! My mom is like that.. I load up on veggies and she pushes the…

I have PCOS so your post is entirely irrelevant.

This is what I'm saying. There appears to be some individuals on here that believes that 'tough love' will inflate their ego; perhaps they're not realizing it but their almighty God-complex is a bit insulting. I read OPs message very clearly, they are depressed and looking for help. I'm sure they know that overeating is…

There's a lot of hate going on in this thread and it's pretty sad. Bottom line is no one here is a certified doctor experienced with PCOS. Everyone's body is different, it's not going to be the same as yours. The OP is clearly struggling and realizes something needs to change. Offering her suggestions like foods that keep…

Hey there! I have PCOS as well, there are a few active groups you should check out on this site. :) it's difficult for us to lose weight but it's definitely possible. If you would like to be friends go ahead and add me; that goes for anyone else looking for some friends! :)

Knowing there's still homemade cherry cheesecake in the fridge and you still have 800 calories left in your day. :#

I'm a sucker for calcium, that's for sure. The first day I started I was over my daily requirement so I tried to tone it down a little today. I have some yogurt, granola, and strawberries waiting for me in the fridge for breakfast!

The phone number is a Richmond number and assigned to a person, not a company. The address is a 1 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment condo. Perhaps someone crossed him so he's retaliating by posting their personal information? Either way, it's dumb and childish. :#

D'oh! :s He needs an IP ban. :#

"peterjones11 has deactivated their account." That didn't take long. :)

Thank you everyone! :) I might have a small snack. I started chewing a piece of gum (Stride Sour Patch Kids) and that seemed to occupy my stomach for the time being. If that doesn't work I might try a handful of high-fibre cereal.

Yeah that comment really made me uncomfortable, and I didn't even post in that thread. :s

Oh, I still have ~400 calories for today but I thought eating right before bed wasn't a good idea. :s

Hey everyone! Thank you for the insight and advice, I'm loving the fact that we have an active group to partake in. :) You're all so kind! I have tried Metformin but it wasn't working well with me. It felt like it was turning me into a diabetic so I stopped taking it. Even after two months I was feeling shaky, anxious, and…

When I can go a day without shaving my legs.

She looked amazing with lipstick and I did not. It's a tragic story.

You have the hair of angels. o:)

I'm sending an invite your way! I can definitely help you with your motivation, we can do this! :)

I would suggest more fruits and veggies as well. Going through your diary I'm seeing a huge deficiency of fruits and vegetables. It can be difficult to adjust to but I'm sure you can do it!

Shakes are not good.. I haven't found one dietitian that agrees with them. If you're on the go, I'd suggest finding some healthier alternatives that you can eat while mobile. They're not horrible in moderation, but every day is going to end up doing you less good than you'd think. They're loaded in sugar, and you're…
