I have long legs too, 6'0" tall, so I really stride out my runs.

Myself I never run more than one mile at a time, because I cannot endure it well. Usually I run it between 6:00 to 6:20.

I do not like running on a treadmill, but I still do a mile run on the treadmill after many of my workouts just to elevate my heart rate. However in general I love games and sports that involve running, and I like to run in situations like that, basically its like sprint intervals I suppose.

This could be looked at in many different ways, strength, endurance, athleticism, physical appearance, health numbers, etc. I suppose it depends on who you ask.

This is only relative to strength though. There are so many more aspects to being fit that could/should be considered, in addition to weight lifting numbers. Not everyone is a bodybuilder or weight lifter.

For me it has always had to do with how I perform athletically, and not so much with how I look physically. When I consider myself fit I usually have very good endurance and lots of energy and explosiveness when doing physical activity. Of course there is always room for improvement.

This is nonsense. I spin regularly as part of my routine and my legs have not 'retained water' and become 'bloated'. In fact my thighs have lost inches from spinning, and they weren't even that big to begin with.

Moral of this story is don't talk to people while they are lifting, it's inconsiderate. Wait till they have finished their set at least.

Hmmm, what are my chances of adding enough muscle during the bulk that it will not be negated again when I try to cut the cut afterward? Sounds like recomp is a better option for me.

I don't really care if I gain more muscle I just want to look better. Which method (bulk or recomp) carries the greatest risk of getting fat again?

Do I need to bulk? I already weigh 185 lbs and I worked so hard to lose the weight I lost, I'm a little hesitant to put weight back on.
