Yes, I do find them attractive. I do consider them somewhat muscular for a woman but by no means 'manly.' I believe some women get arms like this from lifting weights, but not all.

I know teenagers who run the 5Ks in my area can be as low as 15 or 16 minutes. They usually win all the 5k runs where I live. Most adults tend to be heavier and run somewhere between 20 to 30 minutes. 20 minutes is pretty fast for an adult, 30 minutes is probably about average.

I feel this is the most important. When my favorite instructor is teaching I find that I enjoy myself and work my hardest regardless of what class I am taking.
-
I'm sorry. That was rude of me to say that, let's just make peace. I will not comment on your posts if I have nothing constructive to say.

Yes now I see it. I don't know what that is. It looks like you're flexing it.
-
Are you referring to the circle? It kind of looks like ring-worm. Does it itch?
-
So you just want to be better than others? It has nothing to do with where you are at personally as long as you are ahead of most other people.
-
Why do you think I'm a woman? This has me confused?
-
Are you really not going to tell me the tests I need to do? After all you are the one who brought it up.
-
I did google it but couldn't see the tests that the lady mentioned. I just wanted her to tell me them rather than buy a book to learn them.

Is there such a thing as partner assisted barbell hips thrusts?
-
What specifically did your instructor see?
-
Squats eh? I have noticed that sometimes when I do squats I tend towards putting my right foot further back than my left to feel stable, what does this mean?
-
I don't really want to buy the book, could someone just tell me the tests to do to identify if I have weak glutes or not?
-
Thanks for the tip I'll try those maneuvers.

I feel like my butt is round, but kind of small. When I'm doing planks or pushups and I look over in the mirror and I have a little perky round butt. I will take a picture of it sometime.
-
I looked up 'strong curves' and it seems to be designed primarily for women to build a 'better butt.' Are these kinds of exercises primarily for improving physical appearance? I have no interest in my butt getting bigger, however I would do this exercise, despite the embarrassment of performing it, if it will help prevent…

No I haven't tested them. I have had back pain in the past, though not much since I began exercising regularly. I do feel sometimes that my hips are out of alignment but am not sure how to verify this. What kinds of tests do you recommend?
-
My glutes and hips seem to be working adequately without having done them. How will they make life better, aside from flag football evidently?

I worked night shift for several years. I mostly exercised right after work in the morning. If I was too tired after work I'd just go home and sleep then exercise right after I woke up. I found it difficult to exercise right before work since I started at midnight.

Combat and Pump definitely sound much more fun than 60 min of elliptical. As far as the calories burned don't count on those being exact just because you show up to class, how many calories you burn will depend on your intensity each class. I think it will be as effective or more effective at burning calories as the…

These women you are noticing may look really muscular and strong but it's just an illusion. Mostly because they have a short, squatty build that makes them look really thick but they really aren't. It's like looking at a muscular gymnast. On TV they look SO built but if you see them in real life they are just tiny. And as…

Oh but it will cause 'gains' of some sort. Proper nutrition/calorie surplus is the most important part of gaining muscle mass. At the very least it will cause 'gains' in muscle endurance. I've been going to a body pump class (light weights with lots of reps) for some time now and have worked my way up in the weights I use…
-
Body Pump classes are not optimal for adding muscle mass but you could add muscle mass if you are eating a calorie surplus with proper nutrition, it would probably just be at a slower rate than you would lifting heavier weights. I wouldn't call it cardio either, although there are times when your heart rate will go up and…

Pretty much every department store has some brand of exercise clothes. I bought some Galadin exercise shirts at shopko for 5 bucks apiece. That's pretty cheap I think.
-
I'm pretty sure I burn a good 3,000 calories or more per day on days that I exercise.
-
I think it does mean you had a killer workout. Either that or you injured yourself.
-
You should ride a stationary bike with no resistance until your heart rate returns to normal levels.
-
Your explanation does not answer your question entirely. Basically all you told us was that you don't have to feel sore afterwards to have had a great workout. You didn't disprove your question of, "Does post workout Soreness mean you had a Killer Workout?" So I can still believe that being really sore after a workout…

I have gone to both group power and bodypump. They are very similar but I did notice some differences. Bodypump has better music, from the mainstream singers. Bodypump seems to be a little bit faster with more reps completed per track, although most of the lifts are the same.
